Piazza di Spagna, ritratta in affascinati film come “Vacanze Romane”, teatro delle vicende de “Il Piacere” di D’Annunzio e protagonista indiscussa delle sfilate dell’alta moda, è il simbolo elegante e romantico della dolce vita romana. È qui che si trovano le raffinate boutique degli stilisti con le loro allettanti vetrine, nella rinomata Via Condotti e nella ricercata Via del Babuino. Se siete in vena di shopping basta spostarsi di pochi metri per raggiungere Via del Corso con i suoi negozi per tutte le tasche.
Ma non è solo lo shopping che rende affascinante questo angolo di Roma. La fontana della Barcaccia e quella di Trevi, l’Ara Pacis, la Galleria Borghese, il Pantheon, Via Veneto, sono alcuni dei gioielli della zona. A pochi minuti a piedi si trova Villa Borghese, uno dei più bei parchi di Roma, dove poter organizzare anche un divertente pic-nic.
Da non dimenticare che la fermata della metro di Piazza di Spagna si trova proprio a ridosso della scalinata di Trinità dei Monti. L’appartamento vacanze si trova al 2° piano senza ascensore di un palazzo in Via della Croce, proprio all’angolo con Piazza di Spagna.
Il grande salone in cui entriamo ci rimanda immediatamente ad altre atmosfere, alle antiche feste nobiliari che si svolgevano negli sfarzosi saloni dell’800. Si tratta di un ambiente molto spazioso ed elegante con il soffitto a cassettoni, mobili in legno finemente intarsiati, lampadari a goccia, un grande tavolo da pranzo, quadri d'epoca e tappeti persiani come ornamento. Dal salotto si accede alla grande cucina, il cui spazio è diviso nella zona per la preparazione dei pasti, con una doppia parete attrezzata anche con forno e lavastoviglie, e la zona pranzo, con un tavolo rotondo per una rapida colazione.
Le camere da letto sono tre. Le prime sono due grandi triple, ciascuna con letto matrimoniale e letto singolo dove è anche possibile inserire un letto aggiuntivo. In fondo al corridoio, dopo un ampio disimpegno, si trova la camera singola. I bagni sono due, entrambi attrezzati con doccia. La casa vacanze è inoltre dotata di lavatrice, aria condizionata, TV con abbonamento SKY Cinema, connessione Internet WI FI gratuita e riscaldamento autonomo. Le finestre del salone e delle camere triple si affacciano su via della Croce, mentre quelle della camera singola sul cortile interno dell’edificio.
Trascorrere il vostro soggiorno in questo appartamento e in questa zona di Roma, fra i palazzi nobiliari e qualche antica bottega, vi farà tornare indietro nel tempo di un secolo.

Villa Medici is an apartment located in via della Croce, only a few meters from the Spanish Steps and via Condotti, the most important location for high fashion in Rome. The large living room, arranged with antique has the charm of other times. The holiday apartment has 3 functionally furnished bedrooms. Two bathrooms and a large, completely equipped kitchen complete the ambience.
Located on the second floor of an elegant palazzo (with no lift) on the corner of Via della Croce and Piazza di Spagna, the apartment is composed of a large sitting room, a kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The sitting room immediately takes us back in time to the aristocratic gatherings of the 19th century with its airy atmosphere, lacunar ceiling, finely inlaid wooden furniture, crystal chandeliers, huge dining table, antique paintings and Persian rugs, while the kitchen is divided into two areas: a fully equipped cooking area fitted with an oven and a dishwasher and a breakfast area furnished with a round table and chairs.
Two of the three bedrooms are triple rooms, each fitted with one double and one single bed, although an extra single bed may be added to each of them, while the third bedroom is located a little way down a corridor and is fitted with a single bed. Both bathrooms have shower cabins. The apartment is also equipped with a washing machine, air conditioning, TV with a Sky Cinema subscription, free WI FI Internet access and an autonomous heating system. The windows of the sitting room and the triple bedrooms overlook Via della Croce, while the windows of the single room look onto an inner courtyard.
Surrounded by carriages, noble palazzos and traditional craft workshops, the apartment will undoubtedly take you back in time to an age of yesteryear.
