QA / 2015/22166 of 29.9.2015 Home "Marmorata" is a quiet and bright apartment, recently renovated, has central heating, air conditioning, WIFI internet, consisting of two double bedrooms, a bathroom with washing machine 5kg, a living room with double sofa bed, extendable table for six, 32-inch LED TV, a fully equipped and modern kitchen equipped with hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and all necessary utensils. Available to guests coffee, tea, chamomile tea, sugar, salt, spices and detergents. The apartment is also suitable for families with children who will benefit from cot and high chair. The house is located in the heart of Testaccio, the historic district of central Rome, between the Pyramid of Caius Cestius and Ponte Sublicio near Aventine. On foot you can reach in few minutes Trastevere, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Roman Forum, Campo de 'Fiori, the Colosseum, the Capitol and the most important monuments of the Eternal City. It is also close to the train station to the excavations of Ostia Antica and just steps from the historic and picturesque Sunday market at Porta Portese. The bus stop is in front of the front door, the subway 5 min walk. Upon arrival will be 'required to pay the tax subject to local administrative regulations provided for by the sum Eur 3,50 per person per day for the first 10 days and children under 10 years are free.

“Beauiful apartment!”
We have just returned from this beautiful apartment. So convenient for everything you might want to see in Rome. No.3 for Vatican City or 30 to main area stop right outside the front door! Colosseum is a pleasant 15 minute walk away and the Testaccio area is away from the craziness but has everything you need. Supermarket around the corner near the square, bank and chemist nearby and some amazing restaurants. The apartment was beautiful. Spotlessly clean and so spacious. The entry hallway beautiful and authentically Rome. Our host, Anna Maria was so welcoming and friendly. Waiting in the apartment late at night to explain everything and we can't thank her enough. Great trip, great apartment and great City!!

“Great location”
Anna-Maria is a lovely welcoming lady and her apartment is in a fantastic location; 5-10 mins walk to the metro station, 25 mins walk to the colosseum and about 45 mins walk to the Vatican, tram stop across the road. Piazza Testaccio and the adjoining streets behind the apartment have every kind of shop you can think of and the Piazza itself has a great community atmosphere, great place to people watch, with a beer. The apartment has a large roof terrace that gets the sun most of the day and the rooms are clean and comfortable. For information - the oven takes a long time to heat up, but we ate out most of the time so not really an issue. A great stay.
