Additional notes from owner
Deposit: As a guarantee against any damages that can occur during your stay we will require 150 Euro / 200 $ cash on arrival at the time of handing over the keys. Unless any accidents occur it is fully refundable and to be paid back prior to check out.
Cleaning: The accommodation is cleaned only prior to your arrival. On your departure, the accommodation should be left in a reasonable condition. The owner is entitled to charge final cleaning fee of 25 Euro / 30 $ for all duration of stays.
Cleaning upon request is available in one day advance notice where the same charge applies.
Check-In & Check-Out: Late check-in and check-out is possible at extra 20 Euro / 25 $ charge.
Transfers: Airport transfer service can be provided at 40 Euros / 60 $ to/ from Ataturk Airport (IST), 55 Euro / 80$ to/from Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) up to 4 people.

My wife and I stayed in Idil and Murat's Cihangir apartment and loved everything about the neighborhood and Istanbul. The apartment is perfectly situated - outside of the touristed areas of Sultanahmet and Taksim but very convenient to transportation that will take you there easily. Idil helped us negotiate the trip from the airport and met us at the apartment which is close to a small food market and fruit and vegetable stand. The apartment is very comfortable and Idil has thought of everything - a full kitchen, washer/dryer, well organized space so you don't get that closed in feeling of a hotel room. As great as the apartment is, the neighborhood is also delightful. After a day of negotiating the crowds on the other side of the Galata Bridge, it was nice to come back to the relative quiet of Cihangir in the evening. After sampling the delicious and varied choices of restaurants close by, we liked walking the hilly neighborhood although there are plenty of taxis in Istanbul. We found street cafes for people watching as well as beautiful night views across the Bosphorus to the Old City. The apartment is also close to the Istanbul Modern and within a short walk to the Dolmabahce Palace near the ferries at Kabatas. I can not stress enough how convenient public transportation is in Istanbul and Idil provided us with an akbil fob which we loaded up for quick access to ferries, buses, the tram and metro. Idil was always available by phone for questions and from the start she made us feel like we had a friend in Istanbul. Great choice for our Istanbul trip.

We've enjoyed the extra ordinary care from our host, Idyl.
The apartment completely filled our needs. She had given attention to many details beyond the call of duty, eg. places to eat, where to shop for food, how to get around, some customs as visitors usefull to observe. The location was close to the tram allowing easy access to all the major sites in Istanbul. It was a short walk to Taksim Square and the shopping boulevard. We would love to stay there again. -

I spent 4 wonderful weeks in Idyl's cosy, immaculate appartment in Cihangir.It is a cute, comfortable place, tastefully furnished and ideally situated:10 minutes walk to Taksim Sq;, 5 minutes to Bosporus shore, plenty of nice restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood.And - last not least - Idyl is the perfect host, friendly and welcoming.

We spent 6 nights in the apart and had a great stay. It is in one of the best locations in the city, with only a short stroll to some of the best restaurants, shops, and public transportation (both ferry and train). The apart itself was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities to make you feel right at home. It can be a bit noisy though if you are not used to city living. Idil and Murat are warm and friendly and great hosts willing to assist with any extra details. We particularly liked all the additional travel books, maps, guides, and resources they had available - along with lots of great recommendations!
Overall this is definitely worth the 5 star rating and would gladly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Istanbul. -

We have stayed in apartmments around the world and this is the best ever. A charming and extremely helpful owner. Everything you would need was provided including lots of food and drink in the fridge. Only 10 mins walk to Taksim Square. Loved our stay.

Our stay in Istanbul was greatly enhanced by having this beautiful and comfortable apartment for a home base. The decorating and furnishings are elegant but still encourage relaxing and sitting around. The kitchen was great for preparing our own meals and the market provided all we could wish for in practical and gourmet foods. The location is central for walking to attractions or just taking interesting walks. Idil was extremely responsive and informative as we made plans for our trip. Murat was gracious in greeting us and even allowing us to get in a bit early. Everything was clean and operational. The apartment was a joy to come back to at the end of each exhausting day. I would recommend this apartment .

We had an absolutely wonderfully time in this adorable apartment.
Pros - Cihangir is the perfect location from which to explore Istanbul. 5 minutes walk to tram to Sultanahmet and 10 minutes walk to Taksim Square. Neighborhood is charming with great cafes and restaurants everywhere. Apartment was immaculately clean and very well equipped. Idil, the landlady, was wonderful to deal with. She was extremely responsive to all our needs.
Cons - The apartment is on the ground floor, so the noise from the street on weekend nights can be annoying at times. Apartment is ideal for two but a trifle snug for four, however still doable because you won't be hanging out in the apartment too much given everything that Istanbul has to offer.

The appartment was very clean, efficiently and perfectly fournished. Pretty close to Taksim place and to the tramway which makes it very easy to go to the old city (sultan ahmet...). Generous and friendly service. Just excellent.

We stayed in this apartment for three nights and loved it.
It is well cut with windows on three sides, so even though it is on the ground floor, it is still very airy and light. The white-painted, exposed brick walls and stone floor in the entrance and bathroom are complemented by natural colours throughout the flat so the whole effect is chic, modern and relaxing. Great location for whatever you want to do in Istanbul, Cihangir itself is fantastic and not overrun with tourists. Just be aware, the flat is on a corner of a steep, busy hill, so there's a fair bit of traffic noise. Still, we found it to be the perfect haven for our stay in Istanbul and would rent it again in a flash. The owner, Idil, is super-friendly and sweet, and made us feel instantly welcome. -

I’m very happy to recommend oneapartistanbul. I’ve stayed there in July 2010 – it was a fantastic stay. Kabatas tram station & ferry port is an 8-minute walk away; the area itself is a gem. Loads of little shops, cafes and trendy boutiques! And Taksim Square, the modern heart of Istanbul, is close by too. Going to the old town was a breeze. As for the flat it is world-class, clean, tastefully decorated (i.e. not overdone!) and a lovely base from which to explore the entire city. It simply can’t compare with a hotel.
