Description
This stylish 50m² (500 sq.ft.) apartment, set in a fully converted commercial unit with 4m high ceilings, has been renovated over three levels to create a unique place to stay at the heart of Europe's hippest city.
Location
Located in the centre of the city, at the meeting point of Friedrichshain, Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte; where exiting day/nightlife and hip neighborhoods are as close as tourist destinations such as Volkspark Friedrichshain, Karl Marx Allee and Alexanderplatz.
Supermarkets, fast food, (Chinese, Pizza, Sushi, etc) Bike Rental, Late Night Grocery Stores, Restaurants and Cafes are just a few minutes walk away. A short stroll along the historic Karl Marx Allee will land you at Berlins famous TV tower and Alexanderplatz.
Underground train via the U-Bahn, 3 Tram lines and Bus lines are just a couple of minutes away making this a great place for access to all parts of the city.
Furnishing
Set on the ground floor of an elegant turn of the century townhouse the space has just been fully renovated and refitted to provide comfort and style in a great location.
The main area of this converted space is over three levels with a large lounge area on the lower level, a new fitted kitchen and dining area on the upper level and a further lounge area on the mezzanine floor.
To the rear of the apartment, overlooking a leafy garden, a compact and quiet double bedroom.
Additional double sofabeds are available on both the mezzanine floor and in the lounge area below creating a space suitable for sleeping up to total of 6 people.
A compact but stylish bathroom includes shower, WC, large ceramic basin, a heated towel rail.
The kitchen includes, oven, hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee perculator, electric kettle, toaster.
Free internet access via WLAN. TV, radio, DVD player, CD player, Radio.
Towels and Bedding included.
Also provided, hair dryer and iron. Books in German and English, Berlin based DVD's, children's books and films, board games.
Due to very steep stairs, the rental is not suited for children under the age
of 5.
Also, unfortunately we are no longer able to accept larger young male groups. Please contact me directly for more information.
The nightly price is for 2 person occupancy, for additional persons there is a surcharge of €15 per night.

Berlin City Tax (Tourist Tax) at 5%,
7% Umsatzsteuer ( USt: 31/466/00708)
The unit is classified as commercial space, and is therefore not affected by the 'Zweckentfremdungsgesetz'. The short term letting is registered with the local council.
Corona updates:
From 11.06.2021 we will be allowed to open up our apartment for guest again.
Corona Inzidenz in Germany is at 5 / 100000 in Berlin at 4.9 / 100000.
Visists to museums, venues and shops, eating outdoors at restaurants, cafes, bars, is possible again without a negativ Corona Test, however social distancing restrictions, and nose-mouth-protections need to be worn. For indoor eating and for certain venues, a negative Test or alternatively proof of full vaccination is still needed.
Before arrival I will provide up to date information regarding senat guidelines as well as all necessary information about museums and sights.
Cleaning of the Apartment:
Additionally to our general thorough cleaning we will use disinfectant on most used areas, provide disinfectant hand wash for our guests and ensure a 24 hour gap between bookings as to give plenty of time for the apartment to be aired and cleaned.
I will provide spare masks, gloves and hand sanitizer gel and general disinfectant cleaner.
