“Cozy cottage stay” Staying at Suantra Cottages is an amazing way to explore the Dingle Peninsula. Not only is the cottage in a beautiful setting to easy access, but it is well stocked. We had stayed at some other cottage/apartment places during our stay that were lacking in most kitchen utensils and cooking pots/pans. We found everything we needed already in the kitchen when we arrived. Also, Phil is an amazing landlady. She forgot to leave us some firewood and peat, but she came over, taught us how to build a good fire and we had a grand conversation with her. If you plan on staying on the peninsula for more than two days, definitely try Suantra Cottages.

“Everyone asked each morning, "Are we on location for a movie that's set in the most gorgeous part of the world?"” Kevin, Thank you for what will always be remembered as one of our best vacations. Your home was meticulously clean and spacious. You were right about not needing a dryer. Thirty minutes on the line and everything was dry, and you can't beat putting clothes on the line while watching cows graze! The views are stunning! It was quiet and remote, yet so close to town. We loved Slea Head Drive and our hike to the tower (you forgot to mention we might encounter and have to stare down some sheep on our way up). Tell everyone about the little bakery off Green Street and the melt-in-your-mouth raspberry cream doughnuts. If we get to Ireland again, we will definitely be in touch. We loved meeting you, and your brother. He was a darling to put up with our antics. Is everyone in your family that friendly? If you ever head to the next county (to the West), look us up in Massachusetts. We'd love to return the hospitality you showed us.

“Great place to stay for families!” This was our first summer holiday with our 2 year old son and our hosts provided us with a cot and a high chair for him. We were happy to find that the place was safe (sturdy banister, switches for plugs and oven, boilers in separate rooms) for a - supervised - small child and can recommend it without reserve for families (Being only in three, we used of course not all rooms). The cottage is located in a beautiful spot and we really enjoyed the clean, breezy air and the great views of both the seaside and the surrounding mountains.

“Magical Dingle Stay” My group and I were so well looked after at Garvey's cottage. Joan is a wealth of information, a wonderful cook, and a very generous soul. The cottage has wonderful ocean views with a short walk to the cliffs, and is perfectly located for other scenic tours/pilgrimages in and around Dingle. Dingle is truly a magical place with phenomenal sights, walks, and people. I would highly recommend anyone to come and stay here if they wish to experience something of the old and true Ireland. I miss Dingle and look forward to another visit.

“Breathtaking” Four adults wanting to have a magical holiday couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. We enjoyed the opportunity to cook our own meals, have all the conveniences of home and enjoy the beach and country surroundings. Both Linda and Eileen were very welcoming and offered us the opportunity to feel completely at home in this self contained cottage. The cottage was comfortable and very clean. The view was breathtaking and the village of Cloghane/Brandon was peaceful in its surroundings yet active in its daily routine. There are many lovely surrounding villages, but you need to have access to transportation in order to visit them easily. Brandon Mountain Cottage is definitely a place to relax, enjoy the surroundings and meet friendly local people. It is on our list to return again.
