“The most relaxing of Vacations - In stunning surroundings” My fiancé and I have stayed at Fallcreek cabins on many occasions. The cabins are conveniently situated between Boone and Wilkesboro. Within 5 minutes of leaving the highway you find yourself at the cabins, nestled serenely amongst the trees above the creek. The peace and quiet is what hits you first, closely followed by the fresh air. I have stayed at several of the cabins at Fallcreek over the years and all of them are uniquely decorated with some lovely home touches. They are spotlessly clean and comfortable, providing you with all the conveniences you could want for the week. Although there is TV, DVD player etc. we prefer to sit outside, relax in the hot tub or maybe build a fire in the fire pit. The welcome addition of wifi however means you can still keep in touch with friends and family. The seclusion of the Creekside overlook cabin is excellent and you will enjoy complete privacy. Fortunately you don't need a SUV or Truck to get to the cabins (In spring or summer) as the tracks are well maintained and not too steep. A great relaxing getaway, providing a lovely way to unwind and reconnect with nature and those you love.

“Another great stay” We had another great stay in Deer Run (part of Fall Creek Cabins) this year. The cabins are clean and comfortable, and stocked with sheets, towels, paper products, kitchen utensils -- everything you might need and lots more. The wooded setting is quiet and beautiful, and having trails and waterfalls right on site is great for days when you don't feel like getting in the car. But if you do feel like driving, Boone, Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway and more are close by. We love exploring during the day, and then soaking in the hot tub or relaxing in rocking chairs on the covered porch at night. We've stayed here annually for more than seven years now, and we definitely plan to be back!

“Amazing get away!!!” My wife and I stayed at Fall Creek Cabins (FCC) - Serenity Ridge this past weekend. It was a much needed 'getaway' in a magnificent location. The cabin offers a secluded and relaxing atmosphere while having all the creature comforts of home. The crackling fire adds to this rustic setting. When your at the cabin you feel like your in 'another world', but you can easily be at the nearest store for needed supplies in a matter of 10-15 minutes. The location is also very convenient for day trips to Boone, Blowing Rock and other interesting places. The staff at was fantastic at assisting with setting up our trip and helping insure we had all the pertinent information.

“Incredible!” My wife and I celebrated 24 years of marriage at the Blueberry Hideaway on March 8 of this year. Everything needed, such as firewood, the preparation of the hot tub, kitchen provisions, were provided for us. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. It is memory that will never be forgotten. We will return one day with our children to enjoy one of these cabins as a family although we didn't have the honor to meet Tim and Beverly personally, we saw their excellence in the awesome cabins that they have provided for couples as such as us. Thank you and may God richly bless you!

“Wonderful Weekend Getaway!” My boyfriend and I, along with one other couple enjoyed a great two night stay at Wolf Creek cabin this past Valentine's Day! We loved how cozy and clean the cabin was! “A lovely Family Experience” My family and I have been to Fall Creek Cabins several times. Westayed in the Mountain Laurel Cabin for a week long vacation. The cabins are clean, well equipped and comfortable. Some days we stay on the property, hiking and picnicking along the creek and reading books on the porch swing. Other days we ventured to nearby attractions, hiking, shopping and whitewater rafting, followed by a long soak in the Jacuzzi on the porch on our return to the cabin. This is one of my favorite places for a family vacation. I have always wanted to get my family or a group of friends to go together and rents several of the cabins at the same time. That would be really fun. Tim and Beverly are great hosts and always make sure everything is running smoothly.

“Magnificent Cabin with incredible view!” We've rented villas and properties all over the world...we really prefer that to hotels...and this is one of the best places we've rented, bar none. It's a bit off the beaten path, away from the 'touristy' areas, like Gatlinburg (which is just fine with us) but is still only a 20-30 minute drive to the nearby college/tourist/ski town of Boone, NC, which has anything you need. The home itself is huge, three stories, and gorgeous, on a ridge overlooking Lake Watauga. The views of the lake and the mountains are excellent. The Great Room: Spacious & open with floor to ceiling windows, and a deck off the side, with rockers and gliders, overlooking the lake with views of the mountains. Great place for morning coffee and evening drinks at sunset. Stone gas fireplace with remote control. Bedrooms: on the main floor is one master suite with a king bed and it's own deck overlooking the lake, with two log rocking chairs. There is an en-suite bath, and although it's not really very large. it's perfectly adequate, with two sinks in the vanity. Above the master suite, and overlooking the great room is a sleeping loft with a queen bed. Lower level: Three bedrooms, one is a second master with bath and queen bed, the other two have two full beds in each. On this level there is also a game room, pool table, a huge Jacuzzi for 7, and another gas fireplace, along with a large deck with rockers and a porch swing. The kitchen: Excellent! Well furnished, and has two large refrigerators. There are also all the small appliances you could possibly need, including a gas grill outside that has a dedicated gas line so you never run out of propane! It's a joy to cook here. Best of all was the customer service! Management is available 24/7 and the only problems we had (glitch with internet and TV, and hot tub programming issue) were dealt with within a couple of hours at most. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect mountain lake vacation!

“Gorgeous clean cabin, we'll be back!” Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. It was as described absolutely gorgeous. This cabin has an open feel to it, with lots of glass windows and spacious. Views of the mountains and river where so pretty .. Our large party was very comfortable. We were able to bring our family pets (two lab's & a poodle). They too enjoyed all the space to run. Our family really enjoys hiking. We were able to hike all over the mountains side and to the top. Gorgeous piece of property with dramatic views of this twisting river. Found what we thought was a small cave down by the water but upon entry realized it was the size of a small church. My father in law is the fisherman in the family. He caught tons of trout and commented that it was some of the best fishing he'd ever seen. My mother in law stayed in the kitchen cooking which she enjoys the most. It's a beautiful kitchen with all kinds of stuff to cook with. Our beds were all brand new memory foam mattresses. Some of the best sleep we have had in a long time. I've never slept on memory foam before but plan to save up for one, my back never felt better. My son is a toddler and we had plenty of room to run and play on all the massive decking. So his yard was close and safe. We took a plastic baby pool and he was in heaven. We too appreciated the kids jungle gym out by the fire pit. We also played horse shoes every night. This is a great place to have fun and enjoy. Perfect for large family. Thank you too to the staff, answering the phone lines on the weekends. We forgot our directions and they were more than helpful.

“A Cabin Made for Relaxation and Adventure!” My family stayed here over Labor Day Weekend. What a beautiful place! The cabin is secluded, yet within a few minutes of the Blue Ridge Parkway, stores and West Jefferson. It was better than advertised. The cabin was spacious and clean, with plenty of privacy for everyone. The layout enabled the kids to play their games in the downstairs living room while the adults enjoyed socializing in the combined kitchen/dining area on the main level. It was furnished beautifully with artistic touches everywhere. The decor was definitely upscale, but homey at the same time. I kept on noticing little accents throughout our entire stay. The kitchen was much bigger and more well equipped than other cabins we've rented. The large island provided plenty of work space and extra seating at mealtimes. Outside, the grounds and porches were gorgeous. I particularly enjoyed sitting out on the back porch overlooking the fire pit, backyard and creek. The sound of the rushing water was very soothing, but the creek was not deep enough for me to worry about the kids being outside alone. There was a large hanging daybed that was great for an afternoon nap while the kids were off exploring. I even saw 11 wild turkeys while relaxing on the back porch. The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making S'Mores around the firepit several times during our stay. While we were there, we were able to explore the area and went into West Jefferson. What a nice town! There was something for everyone in our family. We really like the specialty shops that sold cheese, honey and oils/vinegar. The kids (ages 6-17) had a great time and weren't bored because there was a little something for everyone. The stores all gave samples, which really appealed to my crew! I came back with lots of Christmas ideas for my teenage daughters who liked a lot of the jewelry they saw. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family. We'll definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later!
