“Great July weekend in Kaha Lani” The apartment was well-situated to get supplies from Lihue and allow to explore both the northern and southern parts of the island in at most a 1hr drive. The apartment itself was spacious, provided a great view of the ocean, and had most amenities (real working knives that cut stuff!). Although the apartment had no AC, the ocean breeze was sufficient to keep things temperate even on the hottest days and nights. I would highly recommend it and would definite consider renting again when I find myself back in Kauai.

“Amazing” Of course the island is beautiful with lots to see and do plus relax by the beach. The weather was a pretty balanced mix of rain, cloud, and sun. The condo - fantastic location - minutes from airport, shopping, and restaurants, pretty central location so easy to get to other towns either direction, and in our opinion right down the path from the best beach plus excellent snorkeling! And the two playgrounds nearby were lots of fun for our kids. The condo had enough space for a five-person family. Well-stocked - we cooked one or two meals there every day and barbecued out by the pool a couple times, the condo had lots of books and games (lots of books in the laundromat too) as well as netflix, and the owners provided a bin of snorkels and beach toys which we used every day and really appreciated! Our favorite thing to do was drink coffee and watch whales from the balcony every morning. The bed was a but uncomfortable - we were kind of stiff in the mornings - but not unbearable. I miss it and would def go back!

“Awesome place!” We were pleasantly surprised when we entered this wonderful condo. It had all the amenities needed for a fantastic vacation. We were tickled by the roosters and there was one I joked that he probably smoked 10 packs of Pall Malls he sounded so bad. We weren't bothered by it but it may become annoying for others when they roost at 4am. They are all over the island so if you think it may annoy you, I don't think you can escape them. There is a nice trail and the ocean is 50 ft off the lanai and was close to everything. For great BBQ ribs make sure to go to Chicken in a basket and for some of the best ice cream go to Lappert's. We would absolutely stay here again if available on our next visit to Kauai

“Great Unit - very happy here!” Unit 121 at Kaha Lani was absolutely super! Very well equipped, appears to be recently renovated. The only problem is the bathroom needs some attention in future, its OK, but it really needs updating. Kitchen was well equipped & everything we required was there - the owners have put a lot of thought & effort into this unit & it shows! Need a couple of beach mats tho. We left a beach chair there for others to enjoy, hopefully will still be there in 2015! View is also super, great ocean view, eastern exposure so sunrise very nice in the mornings. We liked it here & we booked again for 2015! Garden Island Properties (in Kapa'a) was super also - anything that goes wrong or needs fixing, they do it fast with no hassles! You cannot go wrong at Kaha Lanim - its a super place to rent for any period, its a real family place as well. Pool is super & Bbqs are well maintained, the whole place is very well maintained at all times by friendly helpful staff.

“Great lodging at a great price!” Pros: -Location was great, right next to Lydgate State Park and beachfront. Beach directly in front of condos is very nice and not at all crowded. Very short drive to Kapaa. Close to a nice public golf course. -Centrally located on the island, a short drive to all other tourist destinations. Easily accessible from highway, you'll avoid some traffic jams by not being right in town. (Kapaa) -Unit was very clean, comfortable, well-outfitted and well maintained. Just about everything in good working order. A little short on linens and pillows for 4 people. Having 1.5 baths was great. -This ground floor unit is steps from the beach, fairly close to pool and laundry. Patio views are very nice. Pool is small but fine. Hot tub not working. Condo complex is well-maintained, feels secure, staff super friendly and helpful. There were always staff and/or security around. -Unit came with beach towels, chairs, coolers. I don't think all units have those things. -Furniture was utilitarian but nice and clean. Plenty of nice patio furniture. Cons: -This particular unit got quite warm during the day due to its location in the complex. Direct sun from ocean side most of the day. Only an issue if your body temp runs on the hot side. There are shades to close. Master bedroom on opposite side of unit was shaded by other buildings and stayed cool. Unit was equipped with 2 portable fans (a bonus) and 2 ceiling fans. I don't know which units might be cooler during the day--or if all on the ocean side would have this issue. Living room ceiling fan did not work well, bedroom ceiling fan worked great. -Fold-out futon bed is small, would be tight for two adults. Didn't work for our two teen boys. Fortunately, chairs in living room also fold down flat, we put 2 together for a second bed. We should have checked that out in advance.

“Amazing” My wife and I used the cottage for our honeymoon. Our stay was perfect, the cottage was well located on the best side of the island with shopping, food, gas and beaches nearby. The cottage had all the appliances and amenities we needed for our week stay. There are many places to stay on the island but this cottage is amazing it is your own little place away from the bustling overcrowded homogenized resorts. Our favorite town, Hanalei, was just down the road where the views, bay, beach, shopping and eats were all top notch. Reserving and booking the cottage was a breeze with Val and Bruce, ensuring a worry free trip. I would highly recommend the cottage to any couple wanting to get away, but not be trapped in a resort! My wife and I certainly plan on visiting again. Mahalo Val and Bruce for the amazing getaway!

“Look No Further!” It has been almost a year since we stayed at the Island Oasis...and not a day has gone by that we haven't wanted to go back. We went to Kauai for our 10th anniversary carrying very high expectations of beauty, fun, relaxation and comfort...Island Oasis helped capture all of this! What an amazing vacation, all completed by our "home base". Lovely. It was absolutely lovely. And the owners made everything about the trip easy and worry-free. We had the best anniversary and are looking forward to returning! If we could buy the unit we would:) It would be impossible to be disappointed here. I cannot say enough about this condo. We saw turtles, snorkeled on both sides of the unit, ate the most magnificent dinner next door, took walks, watched sunsets and sunrises, reveled in the beauty of it all...best trip ever. Thanks Island Oasis for marking the first 10 years of our marriage!

“Wow!” I have stayed in Manish's condo four times now and love it! The location is beautiful. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. It has everything you'd need from home including a closet full of fun stuff like snorkeling equipment, tennis rackets, beach gear and beach towels already there! I appreciate how well maintained and clean Manish keeps his condo! Will definitely return many more times!!

“Loved it!” My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and loved it. We booked the Seabreeze Villa and were very very happy with it. The location was great and the apartment had everything we wanted. Although we didn't get to meet Herb and Gale, the service was excellent and the one small problem we had was fixed immediately. We will definitely return!

“A very comfortable home away from home” We spent 5 wonderful days of our 3 week holiday o"here. A perfect spot to be to explore the north part of Kauai. Quiet, clean and comfortable. “Love Kauai” We have been to Kauai many times usually on a timeshare exchange. I was a bit worried about the rental experience, but I felt better after talking to Garden Island Properties. They were great all the time. The condo was very clean, nice decor, our favorite location in Kappa. Very well stocked with everything. The view at Kappa Shores is beautiful. A few minor problems like the wifi didn't work and the dishwasher. If we would have called them they would have fixed it. We didn't care as my hot spot on my phone worked fine and we ate out mostly. If I had to rent again I would call them and trust everything would be great. Best tacos ever is across the street at Tiki Taco. Tiny place, but big good tacos. At Kappa Shores park where they tell you as we saw other cars towed away on the back street. Everyone there is always friendly and helpful. My husband forgot his watch and some other items there and Garden Island Properties were so nice when I called from the airport and mailed the items to us. A+ to everyone there.

“Great property, great island” Great condo with plenty of space. Clean and stayed cool day and night! Three minute walk to the beach and ten minute walk to hotels like kauai coast and aston islander down the road (we had friends staying down there). Really close to town, grocery stores, many restaurants, and great swimming/sunbathing beaches. All the towels you could need and snorkel gear and boogie board rental places were just a quick walk down the street. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again!

“Absolutely breathtaking sunrises!” This condo was perfect for my husband and I. The kitchen has been updated, the furnishings were first rate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. “This well maintained and managed condo is in a great location.” We loved the proximity to the beach, playground, and bike paths. There is a great open market and two large grocery stores within walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pools were clean and pleasant. I loved barbequing under the palms, and walking over to the nearby shops in the coconut market in the evening. Kapaa is a central spot for accessing all of the island's destinations. We had a great family vacation.
