This villa is absolutely beautiful from the architecture, which makes you feel part of the outdoors even when inside, sliders open or not, to the gorgeous interior design. The villa is equipped with everything you would need and more. All appliances are top of the line and especially liked having the washer/dryer. You are on the beach and there is great snorkeling in your own backyard. Loved using the kayaks to scout the reefs. When you are tired of the ocean you can relax at the pool/grill deck which has beautiful ambient lighting at night. Very private on the North Side but close to Rum Point, Kaibo and the East End. Quaint and casual Over the Edge Restaurant is minutes away with homey menu, friendly staff and Sushi Sunday. A must is the Bioluminescent Boat Tour with Sweet Spot Watersports. The Concierge Service through Cayman Villas was very responsive and a shout out to the villa manager Mitzi. I could go on (the plush towels and linens, the bathroom out at the pool area, the water sprayer to rinse off sea and sand before hitting the pool deck) but I will end by saying that though the pictures of the Villa Esprit are great they don't do justice to this beach paradise.
This is our second stay at Regal Beach and we were not disappointed. My wife and I used to go to cramped hotel rooms and pay the same amount but with these two bedroom units, we are able to have lots of space, including a large balcony to enjoy the views from. This unit must have been updated not that long ago. It has high end appliances, granite counters and large flat screen TVs in every room. We loved the furnishing and service we received at the unit. The beach was never crowded and there were always chairs and umbrellas available. If you looked next door at the Marriott, you'd see how they pack everyone into a crowded small beach.
This complex is very convenient. It's less that 15mins from the airport. The rental agency "Cayman Villas" arranged to have groceries and liquor delivered to our unit so we could start enjoying it immediately upon arrival. There are lots of restaurants and a car rental all within walking distance of the unit.
The only issue I had was the lack of a K-cup machine which was a problem since I had purchased several boxes of coffee. The management came the day after I arrived with a gift bag containing ground coffee and then delivered a K-cup machine on monday. Everyone, including the maid service, was great.
The only thing I wish they would add to this complex is an outdoor hot tub. There is a small pool with jets but it is not heated. It overflows into the childrens pool so there is no way to heat it. I supposed they could split the filtration systems and provide both. One owner said they have been discussing this. Maybe one day.
This condo was immaculate. It had everything you could ask for and Janice left wonderful helpful hints to everything. Location was perfect for us. Away from the crowds. But on Sunday it was party city across the street at Rum Pt. It's an hour drive to SMB if you have a car. And you will need a car, driving on the wrong side of the road. Kind of fun after awhile. Cayman was awesome and we will be back. My new favorite island.
On our first visit to Grand Cayman we could not have been more satisfied. This condo offered a very relaxing place to spend a week. The view and quiet location allowed us to forget other obligations that clutter our daily lives. The unit was clean. The kitchen fully stocked with utensils, dinnerware, dish soaps (liquid and dish washer tablets), cookware and dish towels. We did run out of coffee filters and I can not say if they are provided or if they were left over from previous guests. All other linens were provided including beach towels. No laundry soap was provided. A highlight was the indoor pool which we used daily. Our group of two couples could frequently be heard commenting on how much we enjoyed the outdoor living space created by the 2 story screened pool enclosure. It is here that we had our morning coffee and breakfasts. The beauty of tropical sand and water just outside the door was intoxicating. The unit is a short walk from Star Fish Point so we were privileged to observe star fish also living around the dock just outside the back door. Two outdoor chairs and two lounging chairs were provided if one chose to relax by the condo. We found WIFI worked best later in the evening. Check-in and check-out were convenient as the office is located very close to the airport. We were easily able to access the office with a simple phone call for any questions that arose.
Rum Point Beach is a few minutes away by car. Here you will find a public beach with chairs, food, drinks, dive shop, hammocks, gift shop and a good restaurant for dinner. Also within a short walking distance of the condo is Kaibo restaurant. We found only 1 of our 3 meals there up to our expectations. Lunch food was satisfactory. Both the Tuesday evening BBQ and Luna Del Mar dinner (only happens on full moon), quality did not match the expensive cost. We would have enjoyed some sort of book in the unit with dining recommendations and things to do. We were however able to talk with other visitors for their recommendations. Our favorite dining highlights were Rum Point for dinner, the Lighthouse, Over the Edge, Morgan's Seafood. Other than going to the beach our favorite activities were boat to snorkel and Sting Ray City, Crystal Cave and Bio-luminescent tour at night.
