“Nice & Cozy” I was very pleased with the cabin & the location. I really liked how it was off to itself but yet it was still close to downtown Cherokee and the casino. Would recommend this cabin for a nice place to stay.

“A Magnificent stay in the Great Smokey Mountains!!” We had a lovely time visiting your cabin! The panoramic views were breathtaking!! There were many options for us to relax. Indoors and out there were comfortable sitting areas. A large and well equipped kitchen, and dining area for entertaining. Outdoors we enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, breathtaking views and starry nights. Your home was beautifully decorated and the beds were very cozy. We were happily secluded but just a drive down the mountain to town if needed. Thank you for sharing you beautiful mountain home with us!! Looking forward to another stay at your Water Rock Retreat!!

“We loved every minute of our stay.” This cabin is just beautiful! We spent a week here. Mornings found us on the front porch enjoying the mountain air and the music of birds singing. It's a perfect location for just relaxing, bird watching or to set out on mountain adventures! Mingo Falls is nearby and the stunning view will have you wanting to stay for hours! Tom Branch, Juney Whank, Soco and Meigs falls are also nearby and all beautiful! We had several meals at the cabin and found all the pots, pans, utensils and table settings needed. It's a short drive to many restaurants and we located a Ruth's Chris restaurant on the Cherokee Indian Casino grounds for a special birthday celebration. I would highly recommend the Climbing Bear Creekside Cabin for anyone wanting to have an unforgettable mountain vacation!

“Cute little two story cabin” This is a cute little two story cabin. It is furnished very well. It is a little confusing finding it as it is in a small subdivision nesseled in the mountains. For 8 people it is a bit tight. Everything worked fine and it was very, very clean. For the price it is by all means excellent. Owner was very quick to respond to questions that I sent him when inquiring about the property. I will definitely return if and when I have another trip to this area assuming there is six or less in my party.

“Amazing views” We loved staying at this cabin! Very convient to the ski resort. Unfortunately we didn’t have much snow this trip but the cabin had many things for us to all enjoy. We will definitely return back :) It was very clean and the owners were amazing to deal with! Thanks!

“Everything you need!” Great rental for our family weekend. Good location! Beth was great, made renting a breeze. Cabin is cute, well maintained and has everything you might need. Hot tub was great, fire pit next to the creek was very relaxing. Would certainly rent again.

“Love love love!” We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Anita was extremely helpful and the house was beautiful! We loved sitting outside and listening to the stream and the hot tub was perfect! Our stay was just what the doctor ordered and we loved every minute of it! The location of the cabin is amazing too because you are secluded while being a short drive from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We will definitely be back!

“Relax- you've found your cabin” Just what we needed to get away from it all for a few days. Clean, well furnished cabin that had all the essentials plus some nice extras in case you forgot some things. Truly spectacular setting with outstanding views. Ten minute drive to downtown, with its mix of trendy and traditional shops, restaurants and galleries. John and Judy are friendly and helpful- willing to offer dining suggestions or directions- but never overbearing. Manageable drive to either the mountains or to asheville to expand your visit options. Close to hiking, fishing and other activities, or you can just relax in the hot tub or by the fire and take it all in. The pace is up to you

“Quiet, comfortable, delicious, interesting and easy!” Quiet, tho we watched a movie and enjoyed the creek flow sounds; comfortable and pretty indoors and out; delicious organic goodies from the garden with tour; interesting to see and learn about the eco architecture; and super easy staying in or going to Bryson City or asheville. “comfortable and cozy” The cabin was neat and clean upon our arrival. It looked just like the pictures posted on-line. We had a great and interesting stay, with two days of high winds and power outages on our last day. But we had hot water and a cozy fireplace for our comfort. The neighbor's were very thoughtful and offered assistance during the power outage. A couple of recommendations would be to add a cutting board in the kitchen and instructions on the operation of the TV.
