“Amazing Short Break” Had 4 days in this beautiful cottage in the heart of Connemara - Great weather - sunny all days - walks on the beach and mountains - great golf and fantastic food in Clifden plus a few beers as the sun was setting. 2 adults and 2 teenage kids - just what the doctor ordered for a stress free break at Easter. Many options for accommodation in the West but this comes highly recommended - authentic cottage, super clean, traditional, rustic, warm and comfortable. €5 euro in a taxi from Clfden. Cottage is very private and set on river/stream with closest living critters being birds, otters and sheep - no noise - bliss. Liam and Marian great to deal with - good tips and really helpful - Thanks for a memorable stay - we'll be back. Keith and Dee.

“Family is forever.” Paddy is the most gracious host, the house was clean and well stocked with all the amenities we needed. All the rooms were spacious and the kids loved climbing the rocks in the back. What a view. I should write a terrible review so the house will be available at a cheaper rate next year but I can't. Beautiful house and great local, loved it. Jim G

“spot on for our family gathering” We hired muckno lodge for s family gathering, bringing people from monaghan, London, Surrey and Yorkshire together for a few days. The mginns were very welcoming and helpful and had a tray of scones and a pot of tea ready for us on arrival, which went down a treat. The house was very comfortable and suited our needs well. “Nice Spot near to the sea” Its a perfectly acceptable modern cottage that is very clean. It is very handy for Bundoran and a good location for touring as it close to the Donegal - Sligo Road. The local pub is close and very friendly.

“Ideal location for peace & quiet, and bird life incredible!!” We loved this little cottage, because of its' location, the huge garden (not totally dog-friendly but fine for well behaved dogs) and surrounding woodlands.. loch just nearbye, wonderful log burner (unlimited logs) very interesting countryside - very friendly helpful owner.. yummy choc. biscuits and bottle of wine provided. Would love to stay there again but a 7 hr. journey from us. Quite interesting places to visit, i.e. beaches, parks and gardens, all within a few miles. Nearest main supermarket was in Stranraer, but a little village store in Leswait itself. The coastline up to Girvan and beyond is alo interesting, and we did see seals.
