“Lovely Fort Chambray apartment” My husband and daughter stayed a week in this lovely apartment. It was impeccably clean and is furnished with all the items one needs while on holiday. The complex itself is gorgeous, the pool area a dream. One of the most beautiful and large swimming pools I've seen and is luxuriously large considering the number of residents. It was a relaxing and quiet renovated fort complex. The owner Maurice dealt helpfully with any questions or needs we had. The only problem we had was leaving. Not only would I recommend it, I can't wait to go back again the next opportunity we have.

“Lovely apartment” The apartment is large and a well equipped holiday home. There is an access road in front of the apartment, where you can park and is right by the side of the bay. You can easily swim from the rocks there, or walk round to the top of the bay to the sandy very safe beach, which takes about 15 minutes. The local bus stop is at the entrance to the access road, which is very useful if you want to go to Sliema or Valletta. Never drive to Sliema or Valletta because parking is almost non existent and the buses are regular and cheap. Just down from the bus stop is a small supermarket and in both directions a couple of restaurants and bars. There are plenty of beach towels, chairs and a parasol for trips to the beach. Air conditioning is provided by ceiling fans and there is a large covered balcony overlooking the bay with a dining table and chairs, sofa and armchair to sit and enjoy the view. The TV only has Italian or Maltese speaking channels, but there is a DVD Player.The apartment owners are on hand if you have any problems, but have tried to provide everything for a comfortabler stay.

“Absolutely amazing!” My husband and I stayed in the lovely one bedroom penthouse apartment in the hot month of July and the place is very nice, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. It even had a small bbq which we have only noticed in the cupboard above the oven half way though our stay; we even had a bag of coal and we were able to enjoy a couple of bbq's in the evening on the terrace enjoying the lovely views and the cooling breeze. The views from both terraces are stunning (photos don't do them justice)! Yes, the hill to reach the apartment is a bit steep to climb especially in the hot afternoons, but it is so worth being so high up as from the terraces you can see so much... absolutely amazing!!! George is very nice and friendly. It made a difference to be picked up from the airport and dropped back. Thank you George for the very nice place you have offered! We will for sure go back as we loved this island so much! Marsascala is a beautiful, relaxing, quiet area where the locals are so friendly. We had some memorable nights in a few local bars, among them The Beach Club (by St Thomas Bay) and L-Awwista. Also Gabriel's serves fantastic food at reasonable prices.

“Perfect for the big family” We had an absolutely wonderful holiday and we enjoyed the house very much. Its a great house, perfect for a big family. There is room for everyone, many quiet corners to read a book or play and a fantastic pool. We were 12 and not sitting on eachothers lap. We also loved Gharb and Gozo. Quiet, relaxed, beautiful and friendly. We all would love to come back, and will definitely recommend Penmon House to others. “Second Stay at Mediterranea” After our (family with 13 year old daughter) very good experiences from last year we again booked Frank's nice vacation rental "Mediterranea Seaviews" on Gozo for October this year. And again we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay thanks to Frank's and his mother's astounding warm hospitality. As our trolleys were not forwarded on our flight from Vienna to Malta, Frank was very helpful to keep the contact with the airport at Luqa for us, encouraged us not to give up hope, and offered his help with every kind of supplies we needed. The trolleys indeed arrived one by one after 1-2 days of anxious waiting. After our arrival Frank kindly arranged for us to enjoy the delivery service of a supermarket for our first purchase in order to make our first day as comfortable as possible. Also the frig was filled with some necessities. And some food was prepared also for us. Frank always discreetly offered his friendly assistance and his good advice, and in every situation turned out to be a reliable guide. We greatly appreciated his profound knowledge, valuable proposals, and helpful support as well as his good relationships to make the right decisions for our sightseeing, swimming, and other activities and to get in touch with local people and institutions. Frank can convey the real Gozitan historical and traditional insights as well as recommend the best places to visit on this tiny island. And he was never wrong with his suggestions. He really wants to ensure that his guests feel happy. His house (3 floors and a roof terrace on 2 levels) on the road between Mgarr and Nadur/Qala with a gorgeous 360° panoramic view provides all necessary facilities and amenities for a self-catering accomodation, has new robust mountain bikes available, and offers a good choice of literature and well selected handouts on every aspect of interest on Gozo & Malta. In short: Highly recommendable for all who want to get in touch with local life on Gozo and to detect all the hidden charms of the island.
