“Rustic Living” If you like Rustic, then this place is for you. Mag is a wonderful host and she made sure we felt at home the moment we arrived. The stone cottage is about 100 years old and is basic accommodation but still warm and cozy. We still had all the modern essentials such as dish washer, washing machine etc but without the time burners such as internet and cable TV. The open fire was great and the bed very comfortable. Our little hire car managed the bush track to the house and the view is breathtaking. A little hint... take most of your supplies with you as the major stores are a reasonably long drive away. Make sure you venture to Josie's for at least one meal. You won't believe how remote it is and how good the food and view are.

“Wonderful, Peaceful a home from home” We had a wonderful family holiday at this cottage. Everything one could think of was supplied. Our every need was met. It is the first time we experienced a house that thought of supplying so much even a food mixer and slow cooker. Our extended family want to go back every year. I am booking again for next year.

“Wonderful location” We were three adults enjoying a short break in the Dingle Peninsula. Brandon Mountain Cottage was very comfortable and spotless throughout. Great attention to detail here. The kitchen was well fitted out and lots of throws and rugs ensured we were comfy on chilly evenings. The views from the house of Brandon Bay and the mountains beyond were spectacular. A lovely walk to the beach as well as a vigorous climb to the summit of nearby Mount Brandon, added to the joy of our stay. Linda was very helpful and made us feel very much at home.

“Fantastic, Tranquil Holiday Experience” Pat and Annette really have a stunning Lodge Resort. The lodge is placed near a lake, has stunning views, and the lodge it self has all the creature comforts of home and is very comfortable. The location is central to all the local tourist attractions, and Pat and Annette have developed a book recommending all the best places to visit while in the area. With boats, donkey rides for the kids, fishing and a quaint little pool hall in the centre of the lodge, Mount Cashel is far better than any hotel. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and certainly will be coming back to stay again, the main reason being that it is so peaceful, welcoming and homely.

“Wonderful” My Apologies to Freda for taking so long to write this review, My stay at Castle View was more than I could have hoped for on my first trip to Ireland. Freda was so accommodating and kind when it came to sorting the business out of booking. The cottage was perfect, Modern , clean and bright and because we stayed in November the open fire place just lent so much more to my Irish experience. The pubs are walking distance, the locals were so fun and interesting as I am sure we were to them as well ,,tons of belly laughs that's for sure!. Vaughan's Anchor Inn serves up incredible dishes absolutely 5 star cuisine and a short walk from the cottage! The beach and the Dock are also so close by and even in November it was lovely to explore! Doolin was fun, traditional music at O'Connors , the place was packed and fortunately we got to experience listening to a story teller, I never heard a bar that packed become so quiet I was in Awe!! The Cliffs were close bye and it was terribly windy, and breathtakingly beautiful . I was able to pick up all my souvenirs for my friends and family back in Canada right there at the Cliffs Of Mohar..a place I only visited in my imagination since I was small.. Thank you Freda so much and Trish I hope we did not leave you to much to do when we left, Thanks for leaving the key under the mat as we arrived pretty late.. Hope to return one day was a trip of a life time and banked in my favorite memories for ever!! Blessed!!

“Idyllic!!” We stayed here at Easter break. Fairytale setting for kids with access to the milking in the evening and space to run around all day. The house itself is so well equipped and warm yet very cosy and full of character. The location is ideal, rural setting yet only a mile outside the bustling town of Skibbereen. I cannot praise archies and the welcome we received at abbey Farm Holiday Homes. Highly recommend a visit!!

“Great place to stay for families!” This was our first summer holiday with our 2 year old son and our hosts provided us with a cot and a high chair for him. We were happy to find that the place was safe (sturdy banister, switches for plugs and oven, boilers in separate rooms) for a - supervised - small child and can recommend it without reserve for families (Being only in three, we used of course not all rooms). The cottage is located in a beautiful spot and we really enjoyed the clean, breezy air and the great views of both the seaside and the surrounding mountains.

“Beautiful House, Magnificent Setting” This house certainly has the wow factor when you walk in. If you are looking for a private Ireland holiday home then this is it. Can't even describe the magnificent views that you see from the many large windows. Bright, spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved being able to do laundry and hang it out to dry in the sunshine. Spent many hours relaxing on the patio. Cooked several meals and had everything we needed. Had a cozy peat fire every evening. Kathleen and Timmy made sure we were settled in and had everything we needed-they are just super-nice people! We particularly enjoyed the Skellig Ring which was only 20min or so away and then over to Valentia Island and going up to Fogher Mtn. Also enjoyed Derrynane, shopping in Sneem and Caherciveen and the drive to Hogshead. A good daytrip was going to Beara Pennisula, shopping in Kenmare and visiting Glenquiliquin (many good hikes). I wish I had asked Katheen earlier in the week about what pubs to visit for local performances. This house far exceeded our expectations and I feel very lucky to have been able to stay here!

We had a great time in Doobeg in a fantastically equipped and modern house and even with fresh eggs every morning! The quite and beautiful bay is just a few minutes away. Everything is like it was describes and shown in the pictures - or even better. Totally recommendable!

“Really nice cottage” We did change cottage whilst we where there due to someone booking extra nights in The Haggart, but we did stay in the one next door, and it was a really nice place. Coal fire two bedrooms two bathrooms and a massive open plan dinning/lounge/kitchen area. The grounds of the cottages where really nice and open. We had our little pug puppy and he loved the running around indoors and outdoors. I would really reccommend this cottage to anyone. Its short drives to coastal areas and if you are into seafood there is a great place in Baltimore called The sea front. all in all ten out of ten area and cottage. karl karen and Ziggy

“Rural location peaceful break” Loved the light airy feel of the cottage. From the outside you may think it is neglected but inside everything is grand. It is warm , comfortable, ideal for one or two people. The cottage has been totally done up in recent years and lacks for nothing inside. The kitchen has all appliances , 2 rocking chairs for watching tv and a velux in the cathedral style roof that leaves the sun in in the evening to make it bright & airy & on a clear winters night you can look up & see the stars or the moon coming in. It is out in the country & a car is essential there , the nearest bus is about 4 miles away in Knockraha & the train is soon to open in Carrigtwohill about 5 miles. The local pub is about 1.5 miles away & the landlord there was kind enough to drive us back home one night we spent too much time there. For a country area the people are friendly and welcoming We used it as a base to see Lismore , we went to a traditional show at the Booly House in Ballyduff well worth going to see if it is still on when you get there ( I think it only runs during the summer) Went to Youghal , Ballycotton , Blarney Kinsale , drove back to Kerry. It is a good touring base

“The perfect Irish getaway” Our first visit to Ireland and I doubt it could have been bettered, Dromard is a beautiful place, in an idyllic setting. The furnishings are luxurious, the fittings of the highest quality. Everything you need is there, and even though you are only a stone's throw from the village with all its excellent amenities, at Dromard you could be miles from anywhere. We chose this holiday because of Dromard but we were delighted by the location, in the centre of all that Cos Cork and Kerry have to offer, with Kenmare being the best village we visited. Dromard, Kenmare and the entire area are most highly recommended.

Stunning Luxury Beachside Home with Spectacular Views of Ocean and Dingle Bay!

“Arriving Home at Didean in Dingle” I recently stayed for a week with five friends in this comfortable and accommodating house in Dingle, Ireland. It is located within sight of the sea and is surrounded by a beautiful landscape with easy walks just outside the front door. The house supported the six of us with ease. It has a well-supplied kitchen that allowed us to cook gourmet meals and to serve them in a nice dining area with gorgeous views through large window walls. The house is big enough for a much larger group. Each couple in our group chose a room with ensuite bathroom. Activities in other parts of the house are nicely segregated from the bedrooms and everyone got a good night’s sleep. The place is marvelously quiet. We would definitely stay at this location again when we visit the Dingle peninsula.

“Relaxing, Private, Romantic, Clean, Great Hospitality” My husband and I stayed at John's Romantic Cottage for our anniversary and also for his birthday. Anne had some nice surpises for us when we arrived. She greeted us with a bottle of wine and baked a cake for my husband's birthday. She also gave us a ride into Kilgarvan so we could enjoy the music festival and arranged for us a car to take us back home. The cottage itself is charming. It was very clean and very private. It was comfortable and each night when we returned we felt like we were returning home. There is a fireplace and anne supplies wood. Anne also gave us fresh eggs on a few mornings fresh baked scones. Anne also gave us tips on where to go. The area has so much to see and do. Kilgarvan is in the middle of the Ring of Kerry as well as the Ring of Beara. We plan to return on our next trip to Ireland. Thank you anne, for helping us enjoy our trip to Ireland.
