“Peaceful ,comfortable, ideal location for visiting Snowdonia.” We were greeted with welsh cakes they were scrumptious. Although we were told the water was from a spring and may be discolored, we could taste nothing different to our own tap water. we felt that we were catered for in every way and would recommend this cottage to any one and everyone. We would like to say a really big thank you to the owners, they did us proud. The cottage is located 3 miles from Llanbedr, down some narrow country lanes, it is off the beaten track really quiet, it is also very cosy and warm. Brian & Patricia Farthing / Alan & Julie Frost

“Absolutely fabulous” Always love our stays at Bwythn Clyd.- Cannot fault this property. We sat outside in November, both at the bungalow and to have lunch at our favourite eating place- the Pilot Boat. What a bonus is that. This property has everything you need to make your stay hasslefree. We are looking forward to our next visit in May. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

“Beautiful and relaxing!” We loved staying at Harrison's Cottage! It's like a home from home and somewhere we could really relax. The grounds are so lovely; rolling green hills and fishing lakes with a great cafe right next door! The location is fantastic for visiting other areas too. The owners are really helpful and made us very welcome.

“lovely cottage peaceful location” This was a well equipped cottage full of character we really appreciated the spacious conservatory for meals and playing games etc. I loved the remoteness of the property and the local people were very friendly. The garden was large enough for my children to play in which was important to us. Pretatyn has a very friendly church called Calvary and the people were welcoming and very friendly this made our stay even more special

“Nice” This cottage was very nice and clean . perfect location for what we wanted. The patio was not very big but we made do. The rangers track up Snowdon is only 5 minutes away by car witch you can park directly over the road, and have a nice walk up Snowdon. when back at the cottage, it's only 2 minutes walk into the village for a well deserved pint. We will return one day.

“Value for money in the Welsh countryside” Friendly greeting from Farmer's wife next door. Property was ideal for large family group (3 generations from teenage to 60s). Lots of bathrooms and different areas. Very popular was the hot tub and games room. Farmer drove us up the local Mountain and we walked back down. It may be too remote for some but was ideal for us

“A spotless comfortable cottage” We had a brilliant week on anglesey, staying in this comfy well-equipped cottage with lots of information about the area to help us decide where to go each day. The cottage was a haven of peace to return to after our walks. The owners, Catherine and Paul, were very kind and helpful and the chickens kept us supplied with fresh eggs throughout our stay. The sea is never far, the walks are great- very varied too , there's an excellent restaurant down the road and a very good chippie in the next village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stick Cottage.

“Peaceful and stunning scenery” The property was in a beautiful location on a delightful farm deep in the Welsh countryside. The farm owner was very friendly and welcoming and the cottage was very beautiful and clean and well kitted out. The only real complaint I would have is that I felt it was very cold due to the time of year, and even with the fire on the the living room I often felt cold. But this is probably due to living in a very warm house anyway and this did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the property. I would definitely stay here again, during the warmer months of the year.

About North Wales

North Wales seeped in Welsh history and culture, is a region passionate about language music and history. This area is a vacation hot bed due to its gorgeous scenery and natural attractions. Fine sand beaches, along with rivers, mountains, and waterfalls dot the landscape and create an atmosphere that must be seen to be believed.

North Wales has many attractions for the adventurous traveler. Sail a boat in the Abersoch Llyn Peninsula, mountain bike at Coed Llandegla, or hike on the Brecon Beacons. The whole family can take surf lessons on the Llyn Peninsula too or horseback ride down the beach at Marloes Sands. Walk along the Anglesey Coast Path in Church Bay or mountain bike the Clwydian Range.

All of North Wales makes for a fun holiday, but try these top locations first:

Snowdonia: White water raft in Bala or climb ropes in Ogwen Valley - Snowdonia has it all. There is also a national park of 823 square miles in the area featuring mountain ranges, waterfalls, and incredible wildlife.

Denbighshire: The oldest inhabited piece of north east Wales is also the home of many UK celebrities.

Wrexham: A major cultural, educational, government, and economic hub of Northern Wales. The host of many sporting events and conventions for the area.

Deeside: Deeside is known for its industry, providing jobs for the people of Cheshire, Merseyside & North Wales and the home of Airbus (type of aircraft) manufacturing.

North Wales is picturesque, and you’ll want to experience it like a true Welshman by staying in a vacation rental instead of a hotel. Make your next holiday a special one by visiting North Wales - you won’t regret it.

Felin Farm Cottages, The Cowshed
Lovely clean and comfortable cottage.

My family and I arrived for a three night stay and found the house immaculately clean. My two year old granddaughter wanted to see the animals which was no problem.Brian told us feeding tiime 5 o'clock and to come down then,She was totally delighted. We did not see a lot of Debby or Brian as all we needed was already in the house. We noticed on a review that the floorboards creaked a lot in the bedrooms, yes they do,but that did not in any way spoil our stay.we are hoping to go back in September.Overall a totally lovely cottage with totally hospitable owners. Many thanks to Debby and Brian for letting us stay in a lovely cottage. Friendly, helpful and well thought out

Me, my husband and our dog Delta stayed for a week to explore the area and climb Snowdon. The cottage was beautiful, well renovated and homely. I wasn't sure what to expect as I generally don't eat out due to my condition I prepare all my own meals. But I didn't have to worry as the cottage was equip with anything you may need. Delta also enjoyed her stay, around the grounds and we were pleased to find a dog friendly place to stay. Very cheap for the standard - could easily charge more.see more
