Description

This is a bright, clean, tastefully decorated 70m2 studio apartment located in Ortakoy- one of the main must-see and historical neighborhoods of Istanbul.

The apartment is an open studio with a large walk-in closet room at the back. It has a double size bed (separated from the kitchen through wooden blinds) and a couch in the living room, which can turn into a single bed.

The closet room has lots of space for all of your clothes and other things you don't need to see in your living and sleeping area.

There is an open, newly renovated kitchen with dishwasher, stove, oven etc. with all utilities needed.

The living room is overlooking to a tree lined terrace and the terrace is a great use for breakfasts and barbecues. It is very quiet and restful to lie down on the couch and watch the greens outside, which you very hardly can find in old and central areas like Ortakoy.

I stay in contact with my guests whenever they need to ask or talk to me about anything via email, call, whatsupp and viber. I'm very prompt with getting back to them and staying in contact.

If I'm out of town I make sure to arrange a friend who will be there if necessary / offers help by anything they might need.

The Neighborhood: Ortaköy is one of the oldest, most beautiful areas of Istanbul, very lively and central location by the water, and one of the main touristic attractions of the city.

Location: The apartment is in a residential, quite street 5 min. walk to the main street on Bosphorus and very casual with cafes, shops, markets, bars, restaurants and famous night clubs like Reina, Angelique and many more. There are markets just 2 min. walking distance away from the house open until midnight everyday. Also suitable for jogging and biking by the waterside.

Getting around: It is very easy access to wherever you may wish to go in Istanbul. There is bus stop around 200 mt. to the apartment, where you can find buses going in many different and major directions like Besiktas (2 stops), Bebek, Taksim (6 stops), Kabatas, Sultanahmet, Etiler (5 stops) and Levent. In Levent there is also subway station. In May 2015 in Etiler another subway station has opened which takes you to Bogaici Uni. directly (2 stops). In Besiktas and Kabatas there is also ferry stations which goes to Sultanahmet/Eminönü, Princess Islands as well as some major ports on the Asian side. Also very close to Galatasaray Uni., Bahcesehir Uni. BAU and easy acess to Bogazici Uni.(pls ask if you need more specific transportation details)

Other Things to Note: The guests will take over the apartment in a clean condition with washed and ironed sheets and towels.

All kitchen (pots, table wares, oven, glasses, cups, kettle, coffee maker etc.) and cleaning equipments (vacuum cleaner, iron etc.) + home textiles (carpets, couch, bed sheets, towels) are relatively new and good in quality.

All bills are included:

- wireless internet,

- cable tv,

- heating (up to 100 TL- approx.30 Euro a month),

- water,

- electricity.

Guests are kindly asked to water the trees on the terrace in summer months if staying longer than a week.

The kitchen counter is made of wood and they shouldn't be putting anything very hot directly on it.
