“Execellent and affordable place to stay in Kona.” We have stayed here five times in past seven years. It is definitely our favorite place to stay in Kona. We have visited every Hawaiian island except Lanai. The Big Island is our favorite and the Kona Makai is a wonderful, beautiful, quite and relaxing place to stay. Grills are located on the ocean front. Excellent sunsets with the occasional "green flash." Walk to town, restaurants, church, numerous beaches and stores. We highly recommend it to family and friends.

“Best family holiday we have had in ages” This is a really lovely place. The pool area and cabana are private and very user friendly. Beach in the morning and sheltered pool area in the afternoon, ideal with 3 teenagers. Bedrooms are spacious and everything works. We didn't bother with a/c just opened the house up and used the ceiling fans. Plenty of living space and room for people to do their own thing if they wanted to. Close to most things but far enough away from noise and crowds. It helps that Maui is absolutely brilliant. Andrew leaves you alone but is readily available to help with any minor issues. The kids said it was the best family holiday they have been on in ages. We agree.

“Great condo, Great Location!” Great condo, great location! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently returned home from a 10 day stay at Papakea G-407! I wish I could have stayed forever! The condo is in a great location convenient to several gorgeous beaches and a short drive to Lahaina town. We had all the conveniences needed to prepare meals in and enjoyed dinner on the lanai several evenings with a beautiful sunset! Anne provided a great deal of information on the area as well as helpful hints for shopping, sightseeing, etc. The grounds at Papakea are absolutely beautiful! There are two great pools as well as two large jacuzzis. We will definitely return to this condo on our next visit to beautiful Maui! Thank you, Anne and Wes for sharing your home with us! “Amazing place!” We loved our stay at the Banyan Tree Condos. The highlight is, without a doubt, having breakfast on the deck watching the waves and the surfers. This condo has everything you'd possibly need for your stay and I highly recommend it. Next time we're on the Big Island, this is definitely where we'll be staying!

“Beautiful Paradise” This immaculate well maintained condo came equipped with everything needed to snorkel, body board, picnic or just rest by the ocean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The condo grounds, pool area, hot tub and barbecue were very well maintained. The office staff, Kitty , welcomed us when we checked in and represented the condo owners with courtesy and kindness. The owners provided us with locations of stores to purchase groceries or whatever needed. Their personal touches on their condo made us feel like we were at home.

“Wonderful accommodations” We stayed at Jean's condo for 2 weeks in Feb/March 2014. The condo was outstanding on the quiet end of Kihei Rd. This is a very nice condo with an island color scheme. The furnishings were comfortable both inside and on the lanai. There is air conditioning but you can get a nice breeze moving if you use the ceiling fans and keep the windows open. Everything was there for our use. The only thing you need to bring is a change of clothes, perishable groceries and a toothbrush. The cupboards were well stocked with almost everything imaginable including aloe vera for my husbands nasty sunburn. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is a great advantage. The laundry detergent & fabric softener were provided. The kitchen has all kinds of stuff you might need including a mix master, food processor etc. We have made several trips to Maui and have never stayed somewhere that was so well stocked. The condo was very well cleaned without a speck of dust anywhere. The floors shined. The gardeners are meticulous. Not a single blade of grass was out of place. The area around the pool has several bbq's and an outdoor kitchen. The pool and hot tub were nice and didn't have excessive chemicals used. Jean was very attentive to our needs. She answered phone calls and replied to all emails within minutes. She provided a lovely gift basket for us filled with coffee, potato chips, chocolates plus other goodies. She has a book of information in the condo with recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. I would highly recommend this condo for anybody that needs a two bedroom. I wish there was a way to leave more than 5 stars because this place is a 10. Thank you again Jean for sharing your lovely condo with us. I cannot wait to go back. We will most certainly rent from you again on our next trip.

“Wonderful Time” We loved the condo, the only problem we had with the unit is it was too hot. The sun came in from 8 am till sunset. We love sitting on the Lanai but there is no sun screen to block full sun. The entire A building has this problem. We will only stay on B side from now on. Other than that it was wonderful.

“Beautiful, clean, spacious condo with amazing views and location” My husband and I stayed in this condo with our 2 boys as well as his parents. We found that we had lots of room for all of us. The unobstructed views from the 2 lanais were absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen was well stocked and we had more than enough towels and linens. ( bring your own beach towel though or buy some for a souvenir) Our boys enjoyed using the snorkelling gear. The double beds were a touch hard for my tastes but comfortable enough. The location was perfect for us. The beach was within easy walking distance and we enjoyed swimming in the lagoon as well. I would absolutely recommend this condo, we would love to return! “Great place to stay for the price” We loved the location and views from our units. The pool was warm and quite nice despite having many restrictions. The units were clean and nice looking however many of the amenities promised (ie. beach equipment) were not in good enough shape to even be useful. If you are advertising these amenities, they should be in decent shape (both beach umbrellas were broken and the cooler bag was so beat up it leaked water all over the place). The property managers skimped on some of the simple things like providing more than a couple of garbage bags and rolls of toilet paper or making sure the light bulbs were new (3 went out during our 10day stay). The garbage disposal in one unit was broken altogether and the screen door in the other had no handle from the outside (a big problem if you go outside and close the door behind you). The rental agency was difficult to reach but did eventually come and replace the light bulbs. All in all we had a good stay but these little things would make a big difference.

“E for excellent at Waipouli Beach Resort E406” In a nutshell, this rental was first rate! The place was clean, bed was comfortable, the furniture not dated, the view was stunning, and the pool was sweet. Centrally located with easy access to all the Kauai sites in the north and south. Safeway and Starbucks located directly across the street made getting groceries and coffee mighty convenient. REMAX did an outstanding job with this rental. We were very, very impressed and highly recommend E406.

“Hot at night” The first night was great. But the next morning when we left the condo, we followed instructions to turn the air down and it was never the same after that. We made sure the doors were shut tight. It took about 2 hours for the rooms to get down to a comfortable temp and every night we slept with no covers on because it was too hot. Seems like the air needs to be checked. We were afraid to leave our sliders open even for a little bit becuse it took so long to get the rooms back to a comfortable temp. Also, I see no reason that the kids can't use a kid-sized floaty ring in the pool and I even saw a man sipping a soda at 10 in the morning get reprimanded and told to take his beverage out. The pool was too strict this time making it kid and family-unfriendly. Also, it would be nice if the landscapers with their mowers and blowers could work around the pool hours. We used the pool exactly 1x during our stay. :(

“Great accomodations for Maui vacation” This condo was perfect for our recent Maui vacation. The unit was very clean and well equipped and the team from Maui Westside Properties were great to deal with. No issues at all with booking or the check in/out process. “Amazingly Remarkable Vacation Spot” We found our paradise !! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach Resort in Maui. The view is amazing! How wonderful to hear the waves crashing just below. Soothing and so romantic! So nice to be able to cook meals in and also use the Bbq's at the pool. My husband enjoyed meeting other guy's cooking at the Bbq's. It was quite the social atmosphere. We have been to Maui several times and really liked the location of your condo. So much better than staying in a motel with all the amenities you provided. “Time in paradise” We all enjoyed to stay in this beautiful house in awesome location on Kauai . House has everything that you may need , from stuff to bake cupcakes to soft boards , beach chairs and toys for children . During our stay we had planty of time to check the whole island and can say that Princeville has the best views , beaches and it is the best place to be on the island. If you have a car it's 5-7 minutes ride to the mist beautiful Hanalei beach or also amazing Anini beach. I highly recommend this property and want to be back here the next year !!

“Our First Maui Vacation” My girlfriend and I have used Vrbo before, for properties in Europe and have never had an issue. Jill and Terry did not disappoint! The Honua Kai property and more specifically the unit we stayed in owned by Jill and Terry was absolutely incredible! I think it's rated as 4 stars, but clearly it was closer to 5 stars in our opinion. The description and photos on the unit were quite accurate. Jill was amazing with customer service and always helped us when needed. The amount of local information made available to us in the form of a very big binder or two in their condo was awesome. The condo unit was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We highly recommend a visit to Honolua Bay to go snorkling. It's only about a 15 minutes drive from the property, and worth the visit! It's a rocky beach, so leave the beach chairs at home and just take towels and snorkel equipment with you. Also, if you're a foodie, check out Roy's, about 5 miles south of Honua Kai. As well, Duke's is on the Honua Kai resort property and it's an awesome restaurant for drinks, lunch and dinner-highly recommend both Dukes and Roy's. We also went to the Old Lahaina Luau one night, and boy it was just amazing! Great entertainment and food. We would recommend this property to anyone, and have already done so with our friends.

“This condo is a wonderful place to enjoy Maui.” We had a wonderful visit to Maui here in this condo Hokulani 509. The views from the condo are breath taking. Before we arrived, I hoped that the pictures on the web site would be accurate. I was not disappointed. The condo is well stocked with what you need to make your stay pleasant. We were there for two weeks and did not feel that we were in need for anything. The grounds are beautiful with three pools and hot tubs. There is a restaurant on the grounds that is very convenient. We cooked in and ate out over the two weeks. Nice grills are available for guests use. There is a grocery store close by. There is so much to do between Lahaina and Kapalua. We would rent again.

“Great island feel, clean, all the amenities you’d ever want, and close to it all.” We used this as the perfect spot to start and end our days. Stopped at Costco on way from the airport to get our basics. Had a homemade breakfast and dinner most nights and packed a few picnics. Great information supplied on which restaurants and attractions to see supplied by the owner. The decore was so adorable in the unit it was great to come home to. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were immaculate as well. After exploring the island it was soothing to relax here. We even got a chance to see our beloved Toronto Maple leafs play thanks to the Great cable coverage. Walked across to the beach several times and saw turtles and whales. Can’t wait to come back.
