“Best family holiday we have had in ages” This is a really lovely place. The pool area and cabana are private and very user friendly. Beach in the morning and sheltered pool area in the afternoon, ideal with 3 teenagers. Bedrooms are spacious and everything works. We didn't bother with a/c just opened the house up and used the ceiling fans. Plenty of living space and room for people to do their own thing if they wanted to. Close to most things but far enough away from noise and crowds. It helps that Maui is absolutely brilliant. Andrew leaves you alone but is readily available to help with any minor issues. The kids said it was the best family holiday they have been on in ages. We agree.

“Time in paradise” We all enjoyed to stay in this beautiful house in awesome location on Kauai . House has everything that you may need , from stuff to bake cupcakes to soft boards , beach chairs and toys for children . During our stay we had planty of time to check the whole island and can say that Princeville has the best views , beaches and it is the best place to be on the island. If you have a car it's 5-7 minutes ride to the mist beautiful Hanalei beach or also amazing Anini beach. I highly recommend this property and want to be back here the next year !!

“Breathtaking and Serene!” Wow! We fell in love with the Waipio house as soon as we drove into the driveway. What a breathtaking view. The owners were SO helpful, and sweet. The property manager Danele made us feel right at home, and made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved every second of our time spent here. We had all the amenties, you could dream of. Including a LOVELY bbq that we put to good use! We will very much recommend this place to family and friends. This is the PLACE to stay in Waipio. And the best place I've ever stayed on the big island!!

“The best...” Thank you to the owners for supplying us with everything we could possibly require for a beach vacation. Your attention to detail is exceptional. The use of the beach towels to the usage of snorkel and surf gear made the difference. Just meant one less thing for us to worry about. Your home is the cleanest ... Hats off to your wonderful cleaners. This is certainly Kona Paradise.. In comparison to the other islands we found the local people the kindest right here,the culture and authenticity to be real, and the natural habitat fascinating. We will be back. “Beautiful Home” The setting and view is spectacular. All the rooms were very nice. We enjoyed the pool table upstairs, although be careful as there is a flaw in the slate and the cue ball can go flying! The Sonos music system is also great. The backyard is perfect. Lots of pool toys. We enjoyed the evenings watching the stars. We did have a few minor issues. We had 3 adult couples and it wasn't clear that two of the bedrooms had a shared bath. The other bath was across the hall. We had expected private baths for each bedroom. The showers are beautiful but water pressure is minimal. Lastly, it seems that pool and hot tub controls are managed by the owner down below. The pool light would turn off and if you wanted to swim late, we couldn't find a pool light switch. Lastly, we didn't have heat in the hot tub the first day/night and requested help from the owner. No response. The pool maintenance person fixed it for us the next day. Even with these minor issues, I would recommend the home again. It is beautiful and has stunning views. We enjoyed the fruit trees, too.

“Family Vacation” Fantastic! Wow! Super! Our family of 19 used this condo as our gathering place for meals, games, conversation and relaxing. The 6 of us who actually stayed there felt like we were in the "lap of luxury" - every detail was carefully planned in the condo right down to beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. The kitchen area an was a superb place to prepare meals with assistance from the Viking grill on the lanai. The lanai provided breathtaking views of the ever-changing ocean and rainbows. The matriarch of our family had no trouble navigating the condo in her walker and wheelchair.

“Well equipped and maintained, comfortable and easy access to beach, food and shopping.” This was my second stay at this lovely 1 BR condo in Kihei and I enjoyed it even more. The location is great, just across S Kihei Rd from the beach at the north end of Kamaole Beach #1. You can walk on the beach all the way to Ulua Beach if you want. The place is amazingly well equipped. All you need to cook and toys for the beach. This time, I even discovered two yoga mats in covers and two yoga blocks to go with them. Perfect for home yoga or taking them to the beach yoga classes that sometime happen. It is also possible to walk to good food and even the grocery store. The building has a great pool for afternoon cooling and laundry facilities are available on site. There is a bit of a view of the ocean from the lanai, but the general vista of palm trees and tropical vegetation in the neighboring buildings was quite nice. Never used the AC, screens and fans kept things comfortable. Finally the electronics were great, big screen and lots of music and video service choices.

“Restful Vacation in Paradise” We were fortunate to have almost two weeks to enjoy this lovely home located just a few minutes walk from beautiful Po'ipu Beach. We enjoyed hours on the lanai over coffee in the AM, and cocktails in the evening. Our long flight from the east coast meant our bodies were ready for the day at 5AM so we took advantage by observing the amazing stars giving way to the sunrise on both Shipwreck and Po'ipu beaches. The helpful hints inside the house binder gave us directions to some "off the grid" activities like waterfall hikes and rope swings - which our teenagers loved. (Bear in mind that the directions assume you're coming from Lihue, not the house - so plan your route accordingly!) The layout of the house is perfect for privacy whether you are traveling with teens or other couples. The house was stocked with the essentials and then some, which made our trip relaxed and fun. We didn't need to contact the caretakers during our trip, as everything we could have needed had been anticipated and provided for -the house was spotless upon arrival and easy to maintain while we were there. We can't wait to return.

“Home away From Home” If anyone is looking for a relaxing retreat, this is the place for you. The location of this property is quiet and yet is within close proximity of places such as Turtle Bay Resort (excellent golfing) and North Shore Sunset Beach and Haleiwa. The Bus even stops right in front on both sides of the street allowing one a cheap ride ($2.50) in either direction. Everything I needed was provided and the owner was quite approachable regarding any concerns or questions that I had. I would recommend this property to anyone that is looking less for luxury but more for a home away from home getaway.

“Maui vacation” This is our second time staying at Honua Kai but our first time in this unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our experience has been wonderful with Maui Westside from our late night arrival to the unit and our subsequent dealings with them. They responded in a timely manner to all our concerns. The unit was well equipped with all the basics such as laundry soup, paper towels and dish soup. We were pleasantly surprised by the partial ocean view from the unit. We look forward to our next visit.
