“Fabulous Sunsets and Whale Watching - Room 1009!” I had the great fortune to come to Maui during whale season and was able to see all of the action from my lanai in Room 1009. This room at the Valley Isle is just spectacular! It is private, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. There were beach chairs, a cooler, and boogie boards which saved us rental money. The view was unbelievable! Watched whales jumping and turtles swimming by. Watched the sunset every night and had magnificent views of Molokai. We will definitely book this room when we come back. Highly recommend it!

“Kelly's Property Description Is Spot On.” Excellent property in a great location. “Beautiful Paradise” This immaculate well maintained condo came equipped with everything needed to snorkel, body board, picnic or just rest by the ocean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The condo grounds, pool area, hot tub and barbecue were very well maintained. The office staff, Kitty , welcomed us when we checked in and represented the condo owners with courtesy and kindness. The owners provided us with locations of stores to purchase groceries or whatever needed. Their personal touches on their condo made us feel like we were at home.

“Comfortable, convenient and well stocked McCann's Maui Vista” McCann's Maui Vista is a home away from home! It has everything you need to prepare meals, go to the beach and relax in style. The unit is well decorated and comfortable. The beds and bedding were nice, the towels were fluffy and smelled clean. The kitchen had pots, pans, baking sheets, knives cutting boards juice jugs. You may think "big deal" but we have stayed in places where there have been a lack of these things and barring packing this stuff or buying it, it is nice to not have to worry! The multiple pool access is nice. We have small children so if there were an abundance of non children people at the closest pool, we just moved on to the next one. There were also times, more often than not, where we were the only ones at the pool. This may be because the non children people went somewhere else! Maui Vista is within a few minutes walk to the beach or shops and restaurants if one is so inclined. I would return to McCann's unit and I have recommended it to friends. It was a great experience!

They all have their own special characteristics and charm. The Whaler Condo 802 has the best location, comfort, and luxurious amenities. Most of the resorts are all set back from the ocean, and you do not have that feeling of being right on the ocean. Condo 802 is directly in front of the ocean. The soothing ocean sounds truly enhances the level of relaxation during both awake and sleeping hours. The beach in front of The Whaler is one of the best beach sites on Kaanapali Beach for relaxing and swimming. There is a reef directly in front of The Whaler that is good for snorkeling. Black Rock is a short walk from The Whaler that has OUTSTANDING snorkeling and turtle siting opportunities. 2 – The Condo is breathtakingly beautiful and immaculate. The owners, Simon and JaNell, are committed to comfort and luxury. The beds are extremely comfortable. I have sleep challenges “on the mainland” but not in Condo 802. I could not believe how well I slept. This is our 2nd time staying in Condo 802, and I have now stayed in both the guest and master rooms. The sleep situation was outstanding in both rooms. The Master Suite is spectacular. Both rooms are wonderful. However, the Master Suite is incredible! Also, the Lanai is so wonderful. As stated previously, you cannot get any closer to the ocean. We were able to directly watch the whales and site turtles as they swim along the beach line. We even saw a small pod of dolphins swimming close by, as well!! 3 – The kitchen is fantastic! We stayed for 12 nights in Condo 802. (For this trip, we decided to stay more days and dine out less.) We prepared the majority of our meals in the condo. (Martha Stewart would not be disappointed.) Every kitchen utensil and appliance is available. Spices and staples are on hand. We had many gourmet dinners, and we were never deficit for the proper accoutrements. 4 – Simon and JaNell Zemel are outstanding owners. We have stayed in many other Whaler condos. All of The Whaler owners have been wonderful. However, Simon and JaNell set a very high bar for customer service. Shortly after our arrival we received a welcome call from JaNell. She called to ensure that everything in the Condo was accommodating our needs, and she wanted to make certain that we were enjoying our stay in their home. The owners are immediately responsive to any request or issue. We had a minor garbage disposal malfunction. It was immediately addressed and resolved. Simon and JaNell are committed to making your experience in Condo 802 to be relaxing and luxurious. I believe the difference in staying at a 5 Star Resort, and The Whaler Condo 802, is that Condo 802 feels like home. There are wonderful kitchen supplies, toiletries, and laundry supplies. Condo 802 is also stocked with beach gear, which eliminates the need to rent beach gear that you may need during your vacation. Again, the owners are outstanding. They make you feel like you are close friends staying in their home. The only negative issue is leaving. The reentry into reality is very tough after staying at The Whaler Condo 802.

“17 great days” Firstly, dealing with Kevin is not just professional, but friendly and helpful. The whole communication, payment and access process was great. The main room is large by Waikiki standards. I did not cook but it was great to have knives and dishes when I cut up the pineapples. I could check-in early so that was an added advantage, and the condo was spotless. “Great trip to Maui” My family and I enjoyed our time at Ekahi. Loved the view from the balconies, and chairs and other beach equipment was there for our use. The property management was very accomodating and when we had one thing missing from the condo, it was there the next day. I think this is a great condo for a family of 2 adults 2 the layout offers privacy in the master suite and a pool, is just outside the condo. Just be advised, it is a bit of a walk to the beach, however, you can drive down and park. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Quiet and pleasant. Lovely pool and rec area at the beach. I would stay here again, just a little closer to the beach.

“Perfect Vacation Condo” Our family stayed 2 weeks and everything was absolutely perfect. The unit is beautifully furnished and decorated. It was very clean and comfortable. It has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is nicely equipped. All beach gear is available for use, cooler, towels, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. We so enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the lanai with the gentle ocean breeze. The location is perfect. The kids really enjoyed the pool and walking to a'beach with direct access was a very nice perk. We also enjoyed a daily walk along the coast on the trail, the views are breathtaking. The grounds of the complex are beautiful and well kept. It was also nice being able to walk to the Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace for shopping and dining. We had such a wonderful time and are looking forward to returning sometime soon! Will stay again in 16F without question.

“Everything you need for you stay is included.” I traveled total with 4 adults and 2 kids (1y, 2y). The condo met all of our needs. It isn’t the most modern look of furniture, but we weren’t in Maui for that. The staircase is a bit scary for the kids to want to climb and can be slippery with socks. We were on high alert the whole time. We noticed towards the end of our stay they have a baby gate in the downstairs closet on the top shelf. It is a loft style condo so the master bedroom upstairs is exposed for all to hear, no privacy. The condo provides all of your needed beach gear including chairs, toys, boogie boards, fishing pole. It was super convenient. The kitchen has everything including a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, utensils, spices, plates, cups, and a pantry full of good stuff. The dinning room table is glass and so is the coffee table. They tend to get smudged up the most. Also, for little kids, watch out for the corners of the glass kitchen table. They are really sharp. The TV in the living room is a good size. They have a small capacity washer/dryer, which was perfect for our light packing and constant wet clothes from beach. You do have to provide your own toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent, after you use up the 1 they provide. We left what we didn’t use for the next renters. There is fold out bed in the couch in the living room. There are two twins in the downstairs room, the beds are really hard, and so our friends didn't get good sleep. They said the fold out bed was more comfy, but on the right side only. The master bed is a queen and it is more comfy than all of the beds in the place. It has a master bathroom which has been remodeled recently. You do have to clean up before you leave or else you will incur a hefty cleaning fee. They have most cleaning supplies you need. It is a walk away from a really nice beach. There is a rinse off station by the gates from when you return from the beach. There is a pool and several BBQ pits onsite. The property is beautiful with fountains and bridges and open spaces to play with the kids. I had no problems while staying at this property. It is a quiet location. It is located in a good area and is surrounded by a ton of restaurants, coffee shops, and activity locations. Not far from the airport either. We would stay here again.

“Perfect Location” This really was Perfect! This place was clean and well stocked for your Honolulu get-a-way! Sunrise on the balcony, nice large vanity area, full kitchen, and all the beach toys too! Convenience stores right down the block and a 5 minute walk to the beach! A safe and secure place to relax during the day, on the pool deck, if you want...but I spent every day at the beach! “Hale Kameole #309 - A great find!!” We ust returned from a glorious holiday to Maui (10 days) and the Molokai (4 days). This is our 7th trip to the Islands, and I fall more in love every time! Maui had last been a destination in 1995 and although we found a lot of changes - much has stayed the same. We stayed, for the first time, in #309 (Hale Kamaole) - a 3rd story condo with an ocean view - renting the unit through Vrbo. This was a very clean and well appointed condo and allowed the four of us (2 couples) ample room and comfotable surroundings. The owner (Brenda) was easy to deal with and always helpful and honest. We loved so much about this location - it's proximitiy to Kamaole 3 Beach (right across the road, and a really great beach in it's own), shopping, dining and, of course, the beaches in Wailea (Ulua and Big Beach). The condo was extremely clean and...well, comfortable - the kind of place that you're anxious to return to after a long and tough day of beaching or shopping. Do not think we missed having cocktails on the lanai one day, watching the sun go down to the tunes of other residents performing their "conch" ceremony (not to be missed). We all loved this place, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

“Amazing Beachfront Location! Can't be beat!” We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful condo in august-September. It was the perfect set-up for our family trip. Our four-year old twin daughters and our mothers joined us and we couldn't have asked for more. It was clean, with a well appointed kitchen, stocked with everything we could possibly ask for. The furnishings were clean and comfortable, the beds and bedding were cozy and clean. The best feature of this venue however is the waterfront lanai. We enjoyed sitting out dining al fresco, watching the ocean views and amazing sunsets over the ocean. The sandy beach below is literally fifty feet away and a perfect place for kids! Our girls absolutely loved the little beach and it was a daily favorite on our agenda. The grands could watch the girls having fun below, without ever leaving the house. We enjoyed grilling out several times on on the waterfront grassy BBQ area. The grills are spotless and maintained and cleaned daily. The grounds were safe and secure. The location is close to downtown Kona, shopping, restaurants and groceries in either direction, not to mention great pit stop for sight seeing locations and beaches. We had a couple of challenges arise during our 11day stay, but the owner took care of things for us and made sure things were made right. The only other concern we had was the humidity in late august, which was sometimes heavy, but with screens open and fans running it was manageable. Over all we loved our vacation and wouldn't change a thing. We'll now also be spoiled to oceanfront accommodations and the sound of the waves beneath our windows. “Perfect modern condo with breathtaking views!” Our stay at # 780 couldn't have been better. The condo is just beautiful with everything you need right there. The location is fabulous, and Janna is the perfect owner/hostess. She answered all of our questions straight away, and was available at any time if we needed her. The decor is beautiful and clean, and the condo is equipped with everything you need, although with so many wonderful restaurants close by we hardly used the fully equipped kitchen. The views are to die for, with magnificent sunsets every night and front row seats for the Friday nights fireworks. We used the Ilikai Hotel Tour desk for booking our tours and there were passes for the hotel pool which we used when we didn't swim in the ocean. I would most definitely stay there again and have recommended it to my friends.

“Completely Enjoyed it. Cant wait to return.” We surprised our children with a trip to Maui over their winter break while home from college. When we found this condo open at the last minute, we were a bit leery since it was during the peak season. The surprise was all ours. What a beautiful place!! We could tell the condo had recently been renovated with all new furnishings and amenities. The owner did a wonderful job redecorating and tying the theme together throughout. I'm very particular when it comes to sleeping away from home as you never know how mattresses are going to feel in rentals. I was delighted at how comfortable the beds were and energized each morning when I woke. We truly were in paradise inside and out. The owner was most helpful with booking our trip, especially since it was last minute, providing us with many fun activities to do during our stay. Looking forward to booking our next visit and staying in this beautiful condo.

“Kihei stay” The condo was wonderful. Plenty of room for our family of six. Clean and well stocked with necessities. Great having the beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and more, ready to use.
