“Beautiful House located in a quiet setting” We loved the house. The sights and sounds of the ocean were spectacular. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. My daughter loved the lap pool and jacuzzi. We were also surprised to come home and find our deposit waiting for us. That was a nice surprise. We would highly recommend this property.

Ko Olina Beach Villa BT1003 - Ocean Views 10th Floor Sunset and Ocean Views

Kapolei apartment

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“This place offers the best of all worlds” My boyfriend and I spent a week at this spectacular villa and can't wait to come back next year. We were greeted by Louie upon arrival and he escorted us to our underground parking space and walked us up to the villa. The first thing we noticed when we walked into the villa was the breathaking views; you have the ocean to the left and the mountains to the right. It was the perfect combination of water and nature. Louie explained the resort's amenities, including a fully equiped fitness facilty and lagoon. The villa is tastefully furnished and equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a high end home. We visit Hawaii once a year and have stayed at several high end hotels, including the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki, Fairmont in Wailea, etc., and this villa is up there with the best accommodations the islands have to offer. The best part of the stay was that we always looked forward to coming back to the relaxing atmosphere of the villa. We often drove to Waikiki for shopping or to visit friends during the day, and enjoyed coming back to the Ko Olina area at night as it was peaceful and quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The drive is only about 35 minutes so we truly had the best of both worlds in staying at this resort. We also enjoyed walking from the villa to Roy's for their happy hour specials as well as the shopping center nearby. There is a small market and a good variety of food and restaurants at the shopping center. We feel like we've uncovered a hidden treasure by finding this place. We are excited to return soon!

“A quiet retreat at a gorgeous resort!” Oh my! were the words I first heard from my wife and our friends as the door opened to your condo. Its so beautiful and it looks just like the pictures! It is a wonderful condo that looks brand new as do all the very comfortable furnishings. The kitchen has everything you will need and probably more. For a resort we found it to be very comfortable and not busy. Sometimes resorts can feel like they are crawling with people but it certainly was not that while we were here!Grocery stores, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. Peggy is available 24 hrs a day should you have problems or questions. Excellent condo, excellent owner, excellent value! I would recommend it to anyone, you won't be sorry.

The Whaler Maui-Suite 802-Spectacular Ocean Front

Ka'anapali apartment

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 5

“WHY this is THE B E S T Condo Experience on Kaanapali Beach!!” Why this is the B E S T Condo Experience on Kaanapali Beach!! 1 – The Closest Oceanfront Condo location on Kaanapali Beach 2 – Luxurious Condo with the comforts of home 3 – Gourmet Kitchen with extensive accessories and staples 4 – Condo Owners COMMITTED to Excellent Customer Service 1 – Our family has stayed in every Kaanapali property (excluding the Sheraton) on Kaanapali Beach. They all have their own special characteristics and charm. The Whaler Condo 802 has the best location, comfort, and luxurious amenities. Most of the resorts are all set back from the ocean, and you do not have that feeling of being right on the ocean. Condo 802 is directly in front of the ocean. The soothing ocean sounds truly enhances the level of relaxation during both awake and sleeping hours. The beach in front of The Whaler is one of the best beach sites on Kaanapali Beach for relaxing and swimming. There is a reef directly in front of The Whaler that is good for snorkeling. Black Rock is a short walk from The Whaler that has OUTSTANDING snorkeling and turtle siting opportunities. 2 – The Condo is breathtakingly beautiful and immaculate. The owners, Simon and JaNell, are committed to comfort and luxury. The beds are extremely comfortable. I have sleep challenges “on the mainland” but not in Condo 802. I could not believe how well I slept. This is our 2nd time staying in Condo 802, and I have now stayed in both the guest and master rooms. The sleep situation was outstanding in both rooms. The Master Suite is spectacular. Both rooms are wonderful. However, the Master Suite is incredible! Also, the Lanai is so wonderful. As stated previously, you cannot get any closer to the ocean. We were able to directly watch the whales and site turtles as they swim along the beach line. We even saw a small pod of dolphins swimming close by, as well!! 3 – The kitchen is fantastic! We stayed for 12 nights in Condo 802. (For this trip, we decided to stay more days and dine out less.) We prepared the majority of our meals in the condo. (Martha Stewart would not be disappointed.) Every kitchen utensil and appliance is available. Spices and staples are on hand. We had many gourmet dinners, and we were never deficit for the proper accoutrements. 4 – Simon and JaNell Zemel are outstanding owners. We have stayed in many other Whaler condos. All of The Whaler owners have been wonderful. However, Simon and JaNell set a very high bar for customer service. Shortly after our arrival we received a welcome call from JaNell. She called to ensure that everything in the Condo was accommodating our needs, and she wanted to make certain that we were enjoying our stay in their home. The owners are immediately responsive to any request or issue. We had a minor garbage disposal malfunction. It was immediately addressed and resolved. Simon and JaNell are committed to making your experience in Condo 802 to be relaxing and luxurious. I believe the difference in staying at a 5 Star Resort, and The Whaler Condo 802, is that Condo 802 feels like home. There are wonderful kitchen supplies, toiletries, and laundry supplies. Condo 802 is also stocked with beach gear, which eliminates the need to rent beach gear that you may need during your vacation. Again, the owners are outstanding. They make you feel like you are close friends staying in their home. The only negative issue is leaving. The reentry into reality is very tough after staying at The Whaler Condo 802.

OCEANFRONT GETAWAY close to all ammenities

Maalaea apartment

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Everything we dreamed of...” Thank you, Robert, for providing such wonderful accommodations! The listing was perfectly described and outfitted. (we never turned on the TV either!) We didn't want to stay in a touristy area and we found the perfect getaway. I really felt like we were on an island. We especially enjoyed the walk to the Ma'alaea Bay and Marina Harbor shops. Quite a few of our meals were eaten at the restaurants by the Marina. The salt water (saline) pool was very refreshing before and after our days on the beach and wandering through neighboring towns. Everything we needed was close and easily accessible. We appreciate the help with suggestions of local spots to see and they were very close. The new air conditioner in the condo was great, too. This place has everything any home would provide....fully stocked kitchen, spacious bedroom, and great bathroom. We'd recommend Robert's place to anyone looking for a relaxing, fully furnished place without the crazy hotel costs. I really hope I get to come back to West Maui and I will surely be staying at Robert's! ~Mahalo

Clean beautiful condo walkable to Ocean and beach!

Waikoloa apartment

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Ideal location for exploring the Big Island” My wife and I stayed here for a week while on the Big Island. The condo was spacious, clean, and was well-stocked with kitchen items, sheets, towels, and beach gear. The beds and furniture were comfortable, and the large sliding doors allow a lot of light to come into the condo (or keep it out on hotter days). The spacious lanai is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and has good views overlooking the resort area. The condo is tucked away from noisy traffic but also provides easy access to the island's main roads. The condo complex itself is well organized, and the grounds are immaculate. We didn't make much use of the nearby shops or restaurants, but they are a nice feature of the area, and the gas station (with expensive gas) is handy for people staying in the area. Bonnie was extremely helpful from the beginning - her replies to e-mails were prompt, and she had many informative and helpful suggestions. She provided clear instructions on how to get to the condo and what to do/how to use things once we got there. It was a pleasure to deal with Bonnie, and I would have no hesitation recommending this condo to other travelers or staying here again on a future visit.

“Amazingly Remarkable Vacation Spot” We found our paradise !! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach Resort in Maui. The view is amazing! How wonderful to hear the waves crashing just below. Soothing and so romantic! So nice to be able to cook meals in and also use the Bbq's at the pool. My husband enjoyed meeting other guy's cooking at the Bbq's. It was quite the social atmosphere. We have been to Maui several times and really liked the location of your condo. So much better than staying in a motel with all the amenities you provided. Thank you so much for the wonderfully decorated tropical atmosphere we had an amazing vacation and will be booking again real soon.

Kolea "ALWAYS-ON-MY-MIIIND" DIRECT BEACH ACCESS - Beach gear Best value

Waikoloa apartment

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“Amazing!!!” We just returned to California after a week at Kolea 16f. The condo is beautiful and is just like the pictures. There was plenty of everything - towels, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. Being on the 3rd floor, the elevator was really handy. The location is amazing - a short walk to a-Bay, the Kings Shops, Marriott and Hilton. The owner Paulette and her parents were super nice and so accommodating(a big plus is that her parents live on the island - only a short distance away from the condo). Originally there were 3 of us and at the last minute it turned into 4. The big beds were super comfortable. Having a washer and dryer was super convenient. We used the Viking bar-b-que twice - very nice. My only recommendation would be a new mattress on the pull-out sleeper sofa. I would highly recommend this place! We had a great time!

5-STAR Oceanview 3-Bedroom Villas in Ko Olina

Ko Olina villa

3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Five-Star Condo and Facility!” My family & I stayed at Ko Olina Villa's March 10-23. Our flight arrived 6 hours late, at 3:15 am. As Enterprise Rent-a-Car was closed, we had to take a (US$90) taxi ride to the condo; by this time, we were exhausted & fed up with travelling. We were welcomed by the front desk staff, given keys & directions to our condo. When we opened the door to #304, our frustrations left as we took in the beauty of the condo which was everything the photos showed & more! From the designer kitchen to the spacious master suite & second bedroom & bath, #304 is tastefully decorated with quality furnishings, comfortable beds & high-end linens. We traveled with our 17 year old daughter & friend who loved having their own space with two very comfortable beds, lots of drawer space, a TV & their own bathroom with a great shower. We appreciated the sliding doors opening on to the large lanai, overlooking he 'quiet' pool. Being on the third floor was particularly nice, as we had a great view of the grounds. The kitchen is designer, with Wolf stove & oven & a spacious Sub-Zero fridge/freezer. There is a two-drawer dishwasher & although we appreciated it, found it lacking space & it didn't clean the dishes too well even after the filter was rinsed out & vinegar run through a load. We then rinsed the dishes before putting them in & this helped. The communal BBQs (4) were in need of repair/maintenance with some not working. We have rented other vrbo's & found the kitchens usually had more supplies of spices, oils and basic condiments. There were some of these but we would have liked to have seen more, as we did 99% of our own cooking at the condo (one of the reasons we like to do vrbo) & had to buy things like mustard, mayo, ketchup & bbq sauce that were left behind nearly full. None the less, the condo itself was fantastic, everyone of the staff was friendly & always acknowledged us with a smile & Aloha! in passing. The grounds of the Villas are incredible, with huge Koi in the ponds. We really liked the 'quiet' pool & the Hawaiian music that played poolside. Our daughter & friend found the Fitness Facility to be very nice, with no waits for machines. The proximity to the beach & lagoon is great! There is a nice walkway that links the four lagoons & hotels nearby. We are avid snorkelers & really enjoyed the Honu lagoon in front of the Villas where we saw a great variety of fish & even turtles. Murial was wonderful to deal with from start to finish! Mahalo!

“Best Vacation Condo Ever!” This was the most well-equipped, clean, bright & shiny vacation condo we've stayed in. Excellent location near pool, beach, and activities. Condo had new snorkel gear, boogie boards, sand toys, tennis equipment - all fresh and new. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner. Comfy beds, fresh clean linens. We enjoyed the Ocean Club daily. Plenty of nearby activities - beach, volcano, kayaking/snorkeling, fishing. Our family of four (including 5 and 7 year old boys) had a blast!

Lopaka's Family Lodge in Hilo

Hilo house

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“wonderful experience” I can not say enough about our stay at Lopaka's Lodge in Hilo. From the time we arrived until we left we were treated like royalty. The house was perfect in every way. It was just the right size for a couple and was furnished very nicely. Everything that was described in the listing on vrbo was correct and more. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and the location of the house is perfect for exploring the east side of the Big Island. It is hard to adequately describe just how nice this property is or to single out just one best thing about our stay. If I had to narrow it down to one thing I guess it would have to be the owner, Bev. My husband got sick on our very first day there and Bev took care of us as if we were family. We came as strangers, but we left as friends. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay on the Big Island, Lopaka's Family Lodge is the place.

Hale Kamaole #309 -Spacious 2+ bdrm Kihei Condo

Kihei apartment

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Hale Kameole #309 - A great find!!” We ust returned from a glorious holiday to Maui (10 days) and the Molokai (4 days). This is our 7th trip to the Islands, and I fall more in love every time! Maui had last been a destination in 1995 and although we found a lot of changes - much has stayed the same. We stayed, for the first time, in #309 (Hale Kamaole) - a 3rd story condo with an ocean view - renting the unit through Vrbo. This was a very clean and well appointed condo and allowed the four of us (2 couples) ample room and comfotable surroundings. The owner (Brenda) was easy to deal with and always helpful and honest. We loved so much about this location - it's proximitiy to Kamaole 3 Beach (right across the road, and a really great beach in it's own), shopping, dining and, of course, the beaches in Wailea (Ulua and Big Beach). The condo was extremely clean and...well, comfortable - the kind of place that you're anxious to return to after a long and tough day of beaching or shopping. Do not think we missed having cocktails on the lanai one day, watching the sun go down to the tunes of other residents performing their "conch" ceremony (not to be missed). We all loved this place, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The location was perfect and very convenient for us. We had lots restaurants, stores and supermarkets to choose from relatively at a short distance from us. Peggy was a pleasure to speak with and was very informative and welcoming. Overall we had a great time as we enjoyed the ocean view, breeze and beautiful sunsets every day of our vacation. Also, provided is music CD and lots of books for you down time leisure. We loved all of the amenities!!!! The location is ideally located to the beach, shopping, food, etc. The owners recommended a trip better known as the road to Hana. It is an island must do. I highly recommend a small tour group. It was a pleasure having an expert guide, driver, and cook take us on a super trip including lunch and trip along the back side of the island. Thanks for the perfect week in paradise. “Fantastic vacation!” Kolea 11A far exceeded my expectations. The condo is huge and very well decorated and equipped. I went running every morning and managed to see most of the other complexes in Waikoloa. Kolea by far has the best location. I wouldn't consider any of the others. A201 VISTA WAIKOLOA DELUXE - OCEAN VIEW-2 BDR

Waikoloa apartment

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Feels like home--but warm and sunny!” We traveled with family and were happy to be able to rent two units next door to each other (A201 & A202). We really loved the condos--the colors, furniture, and artwork really gave the units an island feel. The spacious units with cozy furnishings, comfortable beds, beach gear, well-stocked kitchen, and convenient location made our stay especially relaxing--just 10-15 min walk to shops, marketplace, and a-Bay beach. We cooked quite a bit, so the availability of olive oil, vinegars of all flavors, butter, spices, and other kitchen condiments and accoutrement's were especially appreciated. You even have the choice of brewed coffee or espresso! To save money and get more selection, rather than do most of our shopping at the Queen's marketplace, we stocked up at Costco in Kona and Foodland in Waimea. We contributed to the pantry and fridge by leaving goodies for the next visitors (just as the previous visitors had done). The 2nd floor was nice because we could keep the windows open to let the breeze through rather than use the air-conditioning. With the windows open, we were all up at 6am to the sound of squawking birds and noisy buses and trucks. Since we wanted to go running before it got too hot, the sound of birds in the morning was better than the buzzer of an alarm clock. Although we were surprised by the road noise (it was definitely enough to wake us up when the windows were open), it wasn't enough to discourage us from staying here. The other choice would be to stay on the golf course side of the building that doesn't have the sunset view and can get really windy). A202 is a bit larger (3 bathrooms) than a201, but both units had their own charm. 201 has brighter bedrooms and a bigger master bedroom, but 202 has a bigger patio table that easily seated 8 and a brighter kitchen. Last, but not least--Sylvia was a wonderful host!

LUXURY BEACH HOME POOL EXCELLENT LOCATION

Kihei house

4 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Wonderful stay in the perfect home. Great golf and beach locatio” My friends and I stayed in this high-end well-appointed home while we were on Maui. Our main purpose was to fit in as many games of golf as possible as our wives shopped and relaxed by the pools and enjoyed the beaches. This plan worked out perfectly since we were located right on golf course and a short walk from the beach. Everyone was more than happy with our accommodations and being able to rent a spacious home in the center of a luxury resort was ideal. This home was an exceptional value when you consider that most of the hotel rooms in the Wailea/Kihei area go for the same price for just one room. Everyone in our group felt as though this was our own home in Maui and we expect we will return again as soon as we can. We highly recommend this place and would like to thank the owners for extending us their every kindness. Sincerely, Don M

“Fabulous family vacation at Halii Kai 14C !” Our family just got back from our 4th stay at Halii Kai but our first time at 14C. We were very pleased with our accomodations. It is a perfect unit for up to 5 people. My wife and I were there with our three boys (ages 13,12,&10). Building 14 is one of the three oceanfront properties and the view is amazing. The unit was nicely decorated and had top of the line appliances and tv's. Also, the unit was equipped with all of the amenities for your outdoor activities: beach towels and beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, tennis racquets and balls, basketball, etc. The beautiful kitchen was well equipped with cookware, coffee, spices and everything that you might need. There is really nothing that you need to bring other than the food. The lanai was a great place to sit in the morning or afternoon and watch for whales. The lanai also has a refrigerator and small gas grill (which we did not use). Peggy, the owner of the unit, was also extremely easy to work with. A week before our stay, she emailed instructions for our stay with all of the passcodes and operational tips for the unit. She followed up during our stay to make sure everything was ok which it was. We have stayed at numerous Vrbo properties in the past and I would say that Peggy ranks at the the top of condo owners that we have worked with. The Halii Kai development is a wonderful place to stay on the Big Island. The view from the pool is second to none. I would totally recommend 14C for your next stay at Halii Kai. You will not be disappointed.
