“Beautiful, Warm & Welcoming” We set out on a journey to discover our heritage and see if we had any living relatives in Co. Mayo Ireland. We arrived on an unseasonably cold and blustery day so when we opened the door to the house and were welcomed by the warmth of heat we were delighted. Teach Mo Chroi' was our home base but turned out to be so much more. It is truly a lovely home. The rooms were very spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable after a long day of touring. The kids enjoyed playing soccer and especially the tire swing, but the highlight was watching the fathers and sons play basketball together. It turned out to be one of the best family vacations we've ever taken. There were so many places to visit in the area; a boat ride from ashford Castle to the island was among our favorites. But don't miss Ballintubber abbey, Achill Island, Climbing Croagh Patrick and especially the nightlife in Westport town. Everything was so easily accessible and convenient. The home is furnished with everything you could possibly need or want for cooking, and with so many Satellite channels it was easy to keep the kids entertained. Maura our hostess was warm and friendly and helpful. We were especially impressed with how clean the home was when we arrived and how easily it handled our large group of 11 adults & children. I will recommend the home to others and hope we can find another excuse to visit again in the future. If there was any disappointment it was that we were unable to find any living relatives but our visit to Mayo and Teach Mo Chroi more than made up for that disappointment.

“Amazing Short Break” Had 4 days in this beautiful cottage in the heart of Connemara - Great weather - sunny all days - walks on the beach and mountains - great golf and fantastic food in Clifden plus a few beers as the sun was setting. 2 adults and 2 teenage kids - just what the doctor ordered for a stress free break at Easter. Many options for accommodation in the West but this comes highly recommended - authentic cottage, super clean, traditional, rustic, warm and comfortable. €5 euro in a taxi from Clfden. Cottage is very private and set on river/stream with closest living critters being birds, otters and sheep - no noise - bliss. Liam and Marian great to deal with - good tips and really helpful - Thanks for a memorable stay - we'll be back. Keith and Dee.

“What a heavenly home!” This was such a beautiful home in a great setting. It was well-equipped with everything we needed whether for cooking, cleaning, relaxing, or sleeping. Having a washer and dryer was such a help as we were there for one week. The kitchen had everything one needed as well as the entire home. I cannot say enough about this home as it was so perfect!! The owner was so helpful and gave us great suggestions for places to eat as well as information about the area. We were a group of 5 women: 3 from the us and 2 from Denmark and it was such a relaxing place to start and end our days while there. It was so clean, comfortable, and felt right at home here. Wi-Fi was available too. Also loved the location as out in the country next to a babbling brook. Close enough to town and great to come home to such a beautiful setting. I know we all loved it here and I would recommend it highly to friends and family. And I hope to return one day.

“Magical” My husband and I have stayed in ivy cottage,its very comfortable and cosy especally with the open fireplace plenty of room for holiday cottage and all essential's catered for and lots of pease and quite. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas golf only 9km in Templemore,fishing and plenty of walks and sightseeing,but just to sit in the picknic area and look across to the fields and mountains is really breathtaking,plus walking around pet farm. Our host Mr M Odonnell is most welcomning making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your holiday to the full.

“Family is forever.” Paddy is the most gracious host, the house was clean and well stocked with all the amenities we needed. All the rooms were spacious and the kids loved climbing the rocks in the back. What a view. I should write a terrible review so the house will be available at a cheaper rate next year but I can't. “Relaxing, Private, Romantic, Clean, Great Hospitality” My husband and I stayed at John's Romantic Cottage for our anniversary and also for his birthday. Anne had some nice surpises for us when we arrived. She greeted us with a bottle of wine and baked a cake for my husband's birthday. She also gave us a ride into Kilgarvan so we could enjoy the music festival and arranged for us a car to take us back home. The cottage itself is charming. It was very clean and very private. It was comfortable and each night when we returned we felt like we were returning home. There is a fireplace and anne supplies wood. Anne also gave us fresh eggs on a few mornings fresh baked scones. Anne also gave us tips on where to go. The area has so much to see and do. Kilgarvan is in the middle of the Ring of Kerry as well as the Ring of Beara. We plan to return on our next trip to Ireland. Thank you anne, for helping us enjoy our trip to Ireland.

“Magical Dingle Stay” My group and I were so well looked after at Garvey's cottage. Joan is a wealth of information, a wonderful cook,and a very generous soul. The cottage has wonderful ocean views with a short walk to the cliffs, and is perfectly located for other scenic tours/pilgrimages in and around Dingle. Dingle is truly a magical place with phenomenal sights, walks, and people. I would highly recommend anyone to come and stay here if they wish to experience something of the old and true Ireland. I miss Dingle and look forward to another visit.
