“Property Management company and resident Manager.” Property management company was supportive and provided very helpful concierge information. Was responsive to simple issue that arose and very professional and pleasant. The resident manager at the building was friendly and very informative. A great experience all around.

“Paradise Found at #303” Clean Great location, great service by staff, ample parking, lovely pool, everything you need in a condo away from home. Comfy bed, great views. We will definitely rent again. Mahalo!

“We love the whales” This is a really nice condo. Great views and nicely remodeled. It needs a new frig and toaster. Bathrooms and kitchens are great!!

“Great Place to Stay” The place was newly remodeled. What you see on the pictures is what you get, not less. The view is great and if you have little kids the little beach in front is perfect for them. We loved it and we will definitively recommend to everybody.

“June in maui” We went to kihei for my husbands birthday. We stayed in kihei beach 506. Everything was wonderful and the condo was very clean. We loved the location. We were very happy being directly on the beach and loved sitting on the deck. The best part was we slept so good on that wonderful bed. I definitely would stay there again if we go back to Maui. “Excellent! Excellent! excellent!” We have stayed in Unit #110 in 2013 and 2014 and we are already looking at our calendar for 2015 - the staff at ali'i Resorts are the best - from the time you call for a quote to the day you have finished your vacation they are there for you - the cleaning staff are excellent as well - this is a cement building so you do not hear anyone upstairs or beside you - being an end unit you have more privacy when eating outside on your lanai - if you need some shade this unit has a beautiful big palm tree to sit under right in front of your unit next to the ocean - this unit is located just off the highway coming from the airport and is centrally located for shopping including groceries - at Foodlands make sure you ask for a free customer card and you receive 10% off all your groceries - it never expires and we use our year after year - right across the street from the condo is a fruit and vegetable fresh market as well as an aBC store that is open until 11 PM every night if you have run out of milk, eggs, beer etc. The only thing that we mentioned to ali'i Resorts on this current trip is the matresses on the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom should be changed soon as they are not as firm as they used to be - the matress in the 1st bedroom is new and excellent - what we totally enjoy is the tranquility of the property and the cleanliness and the value for what you receive - my husband and I have very busy lives here at home and so it is sure nice to relax and have the ocean right there - you can't go wrong in renting this Unit.

“Amazing View!” We had a great stay in Maui at the Kihei Beach Resort. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and enjoyed looking for whales. Fantastic walking beach where we could have walked about six miles in a northerly direction. The ali'i property management met us our first day and checked back with us to see if we had any questions. If we ever return to Maui, we definitely will consider staying here again!

“Amazing” This condo is great -- location is great, condo was perfect for our vacation. Everything you need for your vacation is in the condo. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

“Kihei Condo at Sugar Beach by Alii Resorts” Great property. Beach at your lanai back door. Easy access. Fully furnished with all utensils. Wonderful having breakfast on the lanai patio, listening to the waves and walking out 30 yards to the ocean.

“Would stay here again without hesitation” Great beach/water location. Loved being able to sit on the Lanai and see whales, dolphins and hear the waves and yet high enough that had complete privacy from anyone on the beach. Great location on Maui (central) which was great for getting to/from other activities. The condo provided our family of 5 with everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. Everything was as expected. The unit is on the 5th floor at the end of the complex away from the elevator so you either use the 5 flights off stairs or a walk from the elevator (but this also gives the privacy). The only two items I would recommend that could be improved were that that the oven took 45 minutes to pre-heat to 400 degrees (minor given that we only used it twice) and it would be nice to have a few water toys included for the kids to use, given that it was such a great beach location. We spent quite a bit of time in the water right in front of the place and it would have been nice for the kids to have a few water toys such as a boogie board, paddle board, or mask and snorkel. This was our first trip to Maui and we are completely happy with this unit and would stay here again.

“Beautiful Home” The setting and view is spectacular. All the rooms were very nice. We enjoyed the pool table upstairs, although be careful as there is a flaw in the slate and the cue ball can go flying! The Sonos music system is also great. The backyard is perfect. Lots of pool toys. We enjoyed the evenings watching the stars. We did have a few minor issues. We had 3 adult couples and it wasn't clear that two of the bedrooms had a shared bath. The other bath was across the hall. We had expected private baths for each bedroom. The showers are beautiful but water pressure is minimal. Lastly, it seems that pool and hot tub controls are managed by the owner down below. The pool light would turn off and if you wanted to swim late, we couldn't find a pool light switch. Lastly, we didn't have heat in the hot tub the first day/night and requested help from the owner. No response. The pool maintenance person fixed it for us the next day. Even with these minor issues, I would recommend the home again. It is beautiful and has stunning views. We enjoyed the fruit trees, too.

“Our First Maui Vacation” My girlfriend and I have used Vrbo before, for properties in Europe and have never had an issue. Jill and Terry did not disappoint! The Honua Kai property and more specifically the unit we stayed in owned by Jill and Terry was absolutely incredible! I think it's rated as 4 stars, but clearly it was closer to 5 stars in our opinion. The description and photos on the unit were quite accurate. Jill was amazing with customer service and always helped us when needed. The amount of local information made available to us in the form of a very big binder or two in their condo was awesome. The condo unit was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We highly recommend a visit to Honolua Bay to go snorkling. It's only about a 15 minutes drive from the property, and worth the visit! It's a rocky beach, so leave the beach chairs at home and just take towels and snorkel equipment with you. Also, if you're a foodie, check out Roy's, about 5 miles south of Honua Kai. As well, Duke's is on the Honua Kai resort property and it's an awesome restaurant for drinks, lunch and dinner-highly recommend both Dukes and Roy's. We also went to the Old Lahaina Luau one night, and boy it was just amazing! Great entertainment and food. We would recommend this property to anyone, and have already done so with our friends.

“Every detail taken care of...” We loved the Maui Sands condo, it was completely perfect for us.Every detail was so thoughtfully taken care of that we really didn’t have to worry about a thing. From the provided cooler, beach chairs, and umbrella, to the snorkel gear and ocean shoes. Almost every time it occurred to us that we needed something, we found it in the condo. The complex grounds were so well maintained and quiet. We used the grill one night, as well as the lovely pool. The availability of recycling was very important to us, we really appreciated that. The beds and linens were very comfortable and tasteful. We also really appreciated the Condo Manual – it answered every question we could possibly have. Beautiful place to stay! It's not every morning you get to have coffee while watching the whale show - but that's the norm here. Ryan was also wonderful to work with throughout our whole planning phase, and into the week of our vacation. Very easy to communicate with and helpful.

“Paradise!” Our stay in 427 Sugar Beach Resort was awesome! Beautiful, comfortable condo that was very clean and well stocked. Having free long distance to Canada was a real bonus for us, we were able to call home everyday!

“Paradise Found” Thank you for providing a beautiful condo for us to stay in. The unit was in the perfect location at the resort. We loved seeing the lights from the garden pool outside of our bedroom at night. The furnishings are absolutely beautiful and the unit was very clean! We loved the spa shower! We could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend our vacation. We only wish that we had booked a longer trip. We will definitely be back. We really appreciated your recomendations on where to eat and what to see while visiting Maui. Star noodle is our new favorite restaurant! The location of the resort itself was perfect. We loved being able to walk to new restaurants every night, except for the nights we cooked in! We really enjoyed the Bbq's and the fully stocked kitchen. We were also able to find free parking every night on the street out front. Thank you again for lettings us stay in your beautiful condo, we will be back!

“Great condo, Great Location!” Great condo, great location! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently returned home from a 10 day stay at Papakea G-407! I wish I could have stayed forever! The condo is in a great location convenient to several gorgeous beaches and a short drive to Lahaina town. We had all the conveniences needed to prepare meals in and enjoyed dinner on the lanai several evenings with a beautiful sunset! Anne provided a great deal of information on the area as well as helpful hints for shopping, sightseeing, etc. The grounds at Papakea are absolutely beautiful! There are two great pools as well as two large jacuzzis. We will definitely return to this condo on our next visit to beautiful Maui! Thank you, Anne and Wes for sharing your home with us! “Home away from home.” My third time staying at the condo. Love the location right next to the Whaler's Shops, great value and the beautiful beach just a few steps away from your balcony. Every time I call Larry to make my reservations he is very courteous and helpful. Always a great vacation!!!
