“Kona townhouse” Great location...just need a little more of supply esp dish soap...otherwise the place is great...well supplied...Enjoyed the visit and the stay. It needs to have a big recycle bin next the trash bin...the only recycle bin we found is next to the pool/office. Also the property needs some upgrade...the window blinds at the other room is broken... bathtub upstairs needs more cleaning...sort of dirty... but downstairs shower is accessible and clean.

“Beautiful Ocean Front Townhouse” My family and I enjoyed staying at Keauhou Kona #5 Townhouse. The Townhome was very well maintained. The two-story unit was very stylish with new granite countertops. We very much enjoyed the lanai and being so close to the ocean. The beach was not crowded and we saw turtles everyday. What I liked best about the location was that we felt isolated from all the traffic, yet there many nice restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls close to the townhouse. “Just what we were looking for!” Turtle Rock was perfect for our family of four, you couldn't ask for a better location! It's close to town if your looking to partake in some of the shopping, restaurants and excursions that Kailua has to offer, but far enough to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Big Island. The pool was clean and refreshing, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, plates, utensils, and the BBQ came in quite handy. Outdoor furniture was comfortable for watching the sunset, surfers and sea life that flourished right under you! Geckos were out and about but not overwhelming. We did run into a few bugs and insects, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. The place could use a little maintenance but overall seemed well taken care of for being so close to the ocean. It was also a little warm because there is no air conditioning but opening all of the doors cooled off the place quickly. The snorkeling down the road and even right out from the house was amazing, better than our excursion snorkeling by far!! We saw turtles and tons of fish, it can get a little sketchy near the rocks so be careful. Basically we would go back in a heartbeat! A big mahalo to the owners for sharing their piece of heaven with the rest of us :)

“great location and views” awesome location, views, and accommodations. book early because from that calendar on the owners link it fills up fast. just an fyi when you arrive there is underground parking that i have noticed people don't realize. as in any vrbo please leave some pass it forward things. i left some spices, boggie board and a large fan. aloha.

We loved this accommodation and its location. It was so relaxing and peaceful and we really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, free wifi and homely touches like the books and games (not that we spent much time inside). A Piece of Heaven on The Big Island

I have been to Kona many times but never have experienced the beautiful setting that was Condo #5. We were immediately charmed by the decor and the views from the unit that were spectacular! The trail down to the adjacent beach was perfect for a walk or to enjoy the beautiful sunsets that came every night. The proximity to all the Big Island has to offer was a bonus. Sally our hostess gave us a feeling that we were welcome in so many ways. From the info sheet on things to do in the area and the ability to call her at anytime with questions. The house was so well stocked, you really lacked for nothing. Even beach chairs, boogie boards and a surfboard were available for the guests to use. We will be back for sure!!!!!! … see more
