Rising Stars: This Year’s 32 Top Trending Vacation Rental Destinations

You know that feeling you get when you’re a big fan of a song, or a movie, or an athlete before they really take off and storm into the public consciousness? I’m happy to be able to have that feeling right now, as I share this list of vacation rental destinations that are about to launch into the stratosphere. The typical vacation spots are well-trod ground and overdone – but we want to tip our caps to the risers, the climbers, and the dreamers who have exploded onto the scene in 2015. Fantastic eateries, fascinating history, beautiful views, pristine beaches, and of course, incredible vacation rentals set these places apart and aid their growth.

So here are the dirty details on the data: we looked at the web traffic to all of our available locations on FlipKey (tens of thousands) and these were the hottest, most in-demand vacation destinations in the first half of 2015 vs the same time period in 2014.
